While I didn't get married there, (I got married at the El Encanto in San Jose Del Cabo) I did honeymoon at the Grand Mayan and it was wonderful, it would be a beautiful place for a wedding!!

Hi! Blanca at El Encanto recommended casillas catering we met with the owner Guerillmo and did a tasting when we were down there and the food and presentation was phenomonal. We went with him to pick out the linens and he can pretty much customize and do anything you can think up. I highly recommend him! I like TransCabo it's about $10 each way to San Jose Del Cabo not sure about other places, but and they are super professional and reliable and have cold bottled water waiting for you! here is a link to their site http://www.cabosanlucastours.net/Airport-Transportation.htm. Hope it helps!

I have a lot of pictures I can post once i get back from Mexico. We met with Blanca yesterday and she was very nice and really easy to work with, we are doing the reception right there in the courtyard in front of the Chapel and she recommended a great caterer who did a tasting for us yesterday. I have heard a lot of good things about La Panga Antigua as well but we are expecting too many people to do it at a restaurant. This venue is so charming I hope it works out well for you too!! I'll post some pics next week once I'm back.

It's a great part of town. Personally I'm not a big fan of Cabo San Lucas I like San Jose Del Cabo a lot better, it's smaller and quieter. It's kind of an artsy feeling part of town and I feel like it is much more romantic and intimate than anything you could do at a big resort. The El Encanto is just right off the center of town and is within walking distance of pretty much everything. I don't currently have a wedding coordinator and don't think I will be needing one. Blanca is so helpful that I don't feel like I need to bring in anyone else, I am meeting with her next week and can give you more details once I get back if you like? I hope it ends up working for you because it's just beautiful!

Hello! I am getting married there in April and would be more than happy to forward you some pic's and information about the venue later tonight. There is a fairly large courtyard area in front of the chapel and that is where we plan on doing our reception and we are expecting approx 60-70 guests. Thanks everyone for the recommendations ! I have actually been in touch with Dj Mijares and have been amazed by his quick response time. I am meeting with him in a couple weeks and can't wait to get everything booked he seems great.

I did a lot of research and booked Tomas Barron about a month ago. He was nothing but friendly in our correspondence and he is quick to respond to any questions. I can't wait for him to take our wedding photos. Good luck in your search.

I have not been to a wedding here but I was there last April and it is so beautiful! I think it would be ideal for a small intimate wedding.

March and April are perfect not too hot and not too chilly at night!

Does anyone know of another great DJ or have reviews of great DJ's other than DJ Ricardo since he is booked for my wedding date already? Any help would be great as I will be down there in 2 weeks and am looking to get everything booked and finalized. Thanks in advance

I got tons of orange inspiration from the knot.com you can search for ideas by color and there is tons of great ideas in orange. I am using mango and lime as my main colors with possibly some ivory or hot pink too!

We got our tan suits at the Banana Republic Outlet about a month ago and they had tons of them as they are moving them out of the regulars stores and into the outlets to make way for the fall/winter stuff. Hope you have one near you that you can try, good luck!

I don't have the information saved anymore that they sent me but I thought I would let you know that it took the WC a few weeks to get back to me but when he did he sent me all of the information and was very helpful. Unfortunately by the time he got back to me I had already booked another venue, it's a beautiful venue so I say just give him a little more time. I'm sure he will respond and congratulations!

I also second the El Encanto Inn. I am getting married there next April and have visited there twice before and can tell you it is absolutely beautiful and has the cutest chapel on the property. It is very intimate and romantic if that is what you are looking for, much more so than those big resorts! Best of luck in your planning!

I am not sure about dinner but we are looking at doing drinks and appetizers at the baja brewing company in SJD. It's a great outdoor space. Good luck!

Hello all..I am looking for a catering company and I have come across Voila Bistro in San Jose Del Cabo, their menu looks amazing and the restaurant is directly across from where we are getting married so it would be very convenient but I can't seem to find many reviews. Has any one heard of them or used them?? Any info would be appreciated.....Thanks!!

I think we are going to have the reception at our venue which is the El Encanto Inn in San Jose but we need to find a good caterer!
