  1. I think they're sexy and great! If you're still not sure and want to hunt around for something better, go ahead, but these are a definite Plan B.
  2. I take mine off to sleep, shower, cook messy stuff or any time it could potentially get damaged (like painting). I have a special place in my bathroom and kitchen to store them during these times. Sometimes I take them off to put hand lotion on, but only certain times where they are right in front of me (like my desk at work) so that I won't drop and lose them.
  3. You'll find advice and friends on this site. Good luck and happy planning!
  4. Welcome Bonnie! Be sure to check out the meet 'n greet thread for the Toronto brides. Good luck with your planning.
  5. Hi ladies, Here's what's left: organza pouches OOT bags chair sashes [they are available for sharing - see the sash sharing thread] crystal hair pins table runners tea lights
  6. Hi! I ordered them from Oriental Trading Company. I think they still carry them and here's the link if you'd like to check: http://www.orientaltrading.com/.
  7. Not a must, unless your resort requires it for serving dinner. I would check with them first, and if they're not required and you don't feel like making/buying them, then don't bother unless it's an accent you would like to have.
  8. It's a really nice colour theme. Aqua is the perfect beachy reference, and red adds the romance.
  9. They're very nice and I'm sure your bridesmaids/guests will appreciate your thoughtfulness.
  10. They're all nice, but I like #2 and #3 over #1. If you're wearing coloured shoes, I would order it in the same colour as your shoes.
  11. Congrats and best wishes with your plans! I'm a true believer in "where there's a will, there's a way". You can definitely plan a wedding in 2 months, provided you leave Bridezilla at the door, lol!! Do check out the Hawaii forum where you will no doubt find lots of helpful information and advice. Good luck!
  12. I'm so sorry to hear about the stress you experienced, however, it's great that you still have some happy memories of your friends and families being with you in paradise. The Riu's have always had a good reputation, but it seems like they may be letting things slide and that's really too bad. Keep after them until they compensate you for your trouble. Good luck !
  13. Most of the former brides on this site have done one. Try going through the threads in the photos forum as well as searching "TTD" or "trash the dress" and you will get a multitude of hits.
  14. I have to agree. Whether it was made naturally or in a lab, IF the composition is identical, then logically they are just as "real". Why not get a bigger and better quality stone for a fraction of the price? I had heard of them while we were ring shopping, but I hadn't done much research and decided to stick with a natural stone. It's nice to know we have another option that's legit.
