I just got married in PDC and booked 10 shuttles with Cancun Valet to bring 40 of my guests from the airport to the hotel. They were very professional and I was even able to change one of the shuttles without a problem a couple of hours before due to a missed flight. I definitely recommend them!

We will have to meet up! I'm a little worried that Alejandra said the wedding was not "confirmed." Maybe she meant the Saturday wedding because I know that date was taken when I booked the Friday. I've been trying to get in touch with her for days now about a bunch of stuff and it seems like she's taking even longer than usual, I think I'm just starting to freak out because it's getting so close! Send me a PM in a couple of weeks and we'll make plans to at least meet up for a drink!

When exactly will you be there? I'm getting married there on October 31, 5 weeks from today! My ceremony is on the beach and reception by the pool for about 40 people. I will post my pics for everyone once we get them back!

My FI and I stayed at Barcelo for 2 days during our site visit in May. They have an absolutely beautiful location for a beach ceremony located between the Colonial and Tropical. We ended up going with a different resort, but we still talk about that beach! I can't really comment on the nightlife, we were only there for 2 days, but it did seem kind of quiet at night. There is a disco though, so maybe everyone was there!

She is definitely busy! She always gets back to me within a week when I email her. I called once because I was getting nervous about securing my date, but I think email is better because you have everything in writing...

I don't think you could go wrong with Secrets or the Royal in PDC. My fiance and I stayed at the Royal during our site visit and loved it. It's in the heart of PDC, the food and service were excellent, and there is a sister hotel next door that's a little cheaper and allows children. We had a tough time deciding between the two, but ultimately chose Secrets because we thought it had a more intimate feel, we liked the beach better, and I really liked Alejandra. I'm getting married in 3 months (!) so I'll be sure to post a review and pictures!

Welcome and congratulations! My fiance and I were engaged and we will be married within 8 months. It's definitely possible to plan it in 6 months, especially if you don't need to worry about the travel arrangements of a lot of people. My dress is taking 4 months to come in, so unless you can find something off the rack, I would start looking! Best of luck in your planning!!
