  1. Hey ladies!!!! Wow it's been a while since I've been on here.

Congrats to all the new mommies and new mommies to be. Everything is good on my end. Zariah is getting bigger and bigger everyday. She is such a busy body.

Well, I just popped in to say hello.

Ok so I don't HATE Insanity, it really kicks my butt and what I hate feeling is unable to complete a workout fully. It's getting a lot better in month 2 of Insanity but I actually saw better overall results with P90X and better ab results with Insanity so now I'm doing a combo of the two and have found my perfect happy medium :)

I don't like doing ALL cardio all the time, I prefer a combo of weights and cardio.

Keep it up Angel, you are doing great!!

    Thank you, you as well!!

But yeah I know what you mean. I was thinking about making a schedule that combines the P90X strength workouts and rotate the Insanity DVD's. I'll see how that turns out. That way it'll give me both.

So how is everybody else doing?

Thank you!!!! Today was day 45 for me so I'm half way through and I am loving the results. I'm losing inches but overall only 3lbs so far. If I have enough guts to I'll post my results when I'm done.

Yes it is insane!!! I haven't done another one yet because I want to focus on finishing P90X. But somedays when I'm feeling really energized I may pop in one of those DVD's.
  4. Hello ladies!!!

Well I haven't fell off the wagon but I did miss yesterday so I just made that my rest day and I'm going to work out on Sunday to make up for Friday. I actually bought Insanity about a week ago and previewed it. That's some serious stuff!!!!! I did the Fit Test with my daughter and man was I sweating bullets afterwards. I was bored and had a lot of energy for some reason so I gave it a try. I love that kind of high impact workout and I know it's going to kick my butt. I will definitely be starting that after P90X.

Well I hope everyone had a good holiday. Chat with everybody later.

That's great!!! My husband and my mom could really tell the difference in me as well. My tummy is tight and my hips and thighs are slimming. I'm only 5'1" so any change is really noticable on me. I guess it came off a little easier for me because I had a baby 5 months ago so some of the weight was baby weight. But I'm actually smaller now than what I was before I got pregnant. My husband really isn't pleased because he says I'm losing my curves. Oops!
  6. Wahoooooo! I'm in my 4th week. I did Cardio X today. I switched out Yoga for Cardio. The beginning has a bit of Yoga so thats enough for me. I don't have the patience to do yoga for 90 mins. Plus the baby gets fussy if nobody is paying her any attention (good excuse huh, lol!). I'm going to miss the push-ups and pull-ups this week. Lets see if I'll be saying that next week.

How is everybody else doing on their workouts?

  7. Hey ladies!!!! I can't believe how the babies are getting so big. Zariah is almost 5 months already. She is sooo funny and so much fun. There isn't one day that I'm not snapping a pic of Zariah, my other 2 as well. Man, they grow up so fast.

Hope everyone is doing well. Take care!

  8. Ahhhhh, 1 week down. It wasn't that bad at all. Started week 2 today and just finished Chest & Back and Ab Ripper X.

I think I'm going to switch out the yoga for Plyo. Even though it kicked my butt I actually like the high impact cardio better. My husband actually did 45 min with me and I did the last 45 later. I get bored easily so I had to break it up. I was never a fan of yoga and that one is just waaaaaay too long for me.

    How is everybody else doing?

  9. Cool, I think that's what I'll do. Thanks!!

My coach looked over my food diary on myfitnesspal and she said my carbs are too high and protein is too low. Which is confusing to me because I only have 1 a day, but I guess I need to balance it out with everything else that I eat.

I made it through day 3 and it wasn't too bad today. My daughter did Shoulders & Arms and Ab Ripper X with me today. She loved it. I should have had her do Plyometrics with me yesterday. OMG!!!!That was no joke, it kicked my ass. I almost threw up and I've never done that before in any workout. I had to stop it for 10 min before starting again. It's like a love hate kinda thing. KWIM? But I am feeling my whole body tingling. I guess I'm doing something right. Lets see how I do with an hour and a half of yoga tomorrow.

  10. Thank you Kittenheart! I made it through day 1 and it was hard but I made it through it. My arms and and shoulders are feeling the heat, but it feels good.

The only question I have is how did you manage to eat as many calories as your suppose to? The diet is no problem for me but I'm not a big meat eat to begin with. I don't eat beef or pork so my protein is limited but I'm having a hard time getting 5 in for the day and getting between 16-1800 calories all at the same time. I was struggling trying to finish my dinner tonight. If you don't mind could you tell me what you would eat on a daily basis? Or did you eat what was on the meal plan? Sorry if you've already posted it, I haven't looked at the previous posts.

    TIA

  11. Ok ladies, I am on the P90X bandwagon. I'm going to start Monday. Working out has never been a problem for me but with this program I like how it tells you what to do as far as working out and eating. That's what I need because I'll get bored and start eating crap. So I'll see how it goes. I really need to lose these last 10lbs of baby weight. I'll keep you ladies updated.

  12. Ok, I did the workout and I am feeling it. It wasn't as bad as I thought but I am burning. I actually like the burning feeling (is that bad). Maybe because I feel like I'm actually doing something. But I'm disappointed because I had my heart rate monitor on and I only burned 43 calories, but it was only 20 min too. So what I think I'm going to do is do my Tae Bo and elliptical in the mornings for an hour and do the Shred in the evenings.

  13. Kerrington she do fine. What really helped was the numbing cream. Her pediatrician wrote me a prescription for it and it really worked.

My husband was a little upset when he seen her cause he thought she was too young. He kept saying "poor baby". I didn't tell him I was getting it done. But I told him she didn't cry or anything. I told him it's better to get it done while she's really young. So now he admitted today that she looks cuter with her earrings.

  14. Oh, I got Zariah's ears pierced today. She did great! Didn't cry at all. Totally different from 8 years ago when my daughter got hers done. Now they have this numbing cream you put on an hour before the piercing, works like a charm.

You can't really tell but they are really small hearts.

    i love her lil lips
