I know theknot.com is a great source for finding good boudoir photogs in your area. another place to check would be a networking site, a lot of photographers use myspace and facebook to show their work. good luck and remember to have fun while your shooting!! it shows

Tipping etiquette

oh! and usually at the end of the night when we are saying goodbyes my clients will say thanks and hand us an envelope with a tip and a little note inside (I usually spend a lot of time with my brides before their big day)...it does make us feel good after a hard days work -

Tips are a wonderful way to show your appreciation for a vendor. I never expect a tip from a client, and there are times when I don't et tipped, and that's ok. My adverae tip is $50 for me and $50 for my other photographer, but we have been tipped up to $100 a piece. hope that helps! congrats and best wishes, Pamela -

I am getting eyelash extentions

I know at Benefit stores in Chicago (it's a cosmetic brand) they have some pretty reasonable rates and I've heard really awesome things about them. I am all about the lash extensions! They really help to make your eyes pop during the photo shoots and for a TTD it makes a difference in the closeups in intensity -
great idea about hitting up a better rate for a weekday shoot. My hourly rates vary from weekdays to weekends also...weekends are almost always taken up by other weddings or other engagement shoots. I would ask your photographer if there is a difference in price. Evening shoots on weekdays can also be nice now that it's summer. If planned right you can get some great daylight shots and then some romantic sunset or low light photos taken as well...

ALLI made me feel a little funny too when I tried it. Although I wasn't very committed to "sticking with it" and only tried it for a couple weeks. I did have to be really careful about my fat and calorie intake, how I heard it works it it absorbs some of the fat you are eating and when you eat too much fat it has nowhere to absorb and you'll have greasy stools. It never got bad for me, but it was enough to make me hesitant about eating too much! ha!
