I smoked for 15years and quit 6 years ago. You can do it. I did it cold turkey as well and what I did was sign up for a marathon, told everyone I was doing it ,raised money for a charity so I couldn't back out , and this got me through my first year. I'm not saying go run a marathon (I'm sure you have enough on your plate planning the wedding.) but set a goal, run a race and start feeling better about yourself. Quiting smoking has changed my life in so many ways. You can do this. You're worth it!

TammyB, I love your pics. Your dress is beautiful. I know what you mean about not getting to the island and living there all your life. I'm from St. Louis and I've never been up in the Arch.

Mackinac Island is located in Northern Michigan. There are no cars allowed on the island. Horse and buggies and bikes only. It's a small island known for the Grand Hotel where the movie "Somewhere in Time" was filmed. I have not been to the island but my fiance is from Michigan and its a tradition in his family. We will be married in St. Anne's church. I would post pics of the island but I'm still trying to fiqure out how to get around on this site. Gina
