  1. I love it too.. Sarah Sprouille made it. She does awesome work!!
  2. I am so glad to hear that others are "jumping the broom" too.. can you share how you are going to DIY yours.. I am not much of a crafter, but I can't imagine it would be to difficult
  3. Hi, Instead of a "rehersal dinner", we are having a catered dinner in our home. All of our guests are staying at the resort and most of them we haven't seen in awhile, haven't visited us or Vegas before, or haven't been outside of the strip. All of our celebrations.. shower, ceremony, etc is planned for the resort so we decided to do a meet and greet for our OOT friends and family in our home. So they can relax and we will be able to really visit with them. There are several places that we considered for a rehersal that I am very familiar with close to the strip and reasonably priced... Landrys Seafood House The Tillerman Gordon Biersch LOL.. now that I think about it.. 60 people in my home.. PHEW.. better get to cleaning...
  4. Hi, April 26, 2008 at Alexis Park Resort, Las Vegas!!! Getting closer...
  5. Hey Ladies..I too am a local Vegas bride... although I am local, I am having a destination wedding.. 80% of my guests are from all points of the country!! Planning is fun, especially with my budget.. lol My wedding is at Alexis Park Resort as I wanted something close to the strip without the casino atmosphere. I have managed to plan a wedding weekend.. including all my attire, rehersal and welcome dinner, and ceremony, cocktail hour, and sit down dinner/dance..all for under $7,500... I have done a ton of research and have some great deals... anyone that needs any suggestions or ideas.. I would be also happy to help.. 2 months to go!!!
  6. Sarah is the best!!! I am sooo happy with mine.. I am thinking of all kind of things to use it for.. programs, menus, placecards, tablecards.. heck, I might even try to have it lit up with a projector on the wall of my cocktail hour area!! Sarah, Thank you....
  7. Hi, I am getting married at the Alexis Park Resort.. having a "wedding weekend" with most of my guests arriving on Thursday for a shower/bachlorette, Friday for a casual meet and greet to blend the families, and Saturday for the wedding festivities.. Should be fun!! Thanks for all the welcomes!!!
  8. Hello, New to the site and just want to say hello. Any Vegas brides around. Although I am not having a "destination" wedding (I live here), most of my guests are from out of town, so.. in essence, it's a destination wedding for them.. Wedding date: April 26, 2008 and fast approaching. Working on the details. All the major stuff is planned with the exception of the florist (too expensive!) and the venue decorations. This is a second wedding and I am going for a traditional/elegant theme. Anyone with good suggestions or any decorations to sell would be appreciated!!
