I had a two layer cake and it would have fed way more than 30. It was pretty big. Also, probably only half of the people there had some.. I wouldn't worry about it. As for the cigars, there is a cigar shop in the mall right down the road. Ryan hit it up a few times. There is also a cigar shop at dreams but the cigars are pretty pricey. I think Ryan got a few there one time and spent about sixty bucks. As for the toast. We didn't have champagne either we just had everyone toast with whatever they were already drinking. Mostly because we forgot to let the waiters know we were about to toast lol. Oh well, I don't think anybody cared.

I know I should take my temp and all that but just say that it is correct with its prediction.....

A lot of banks will work with your hours. Also waitressing and bartending. Of course to make any money you would have to work nights. Sometimes you can find places that need a secretary for 20-30 hours a week and they will usually work with your school hours. It sucks I know! I had to stop going last year. Now that I am married though I can afford to go back and not work Thank God. I am going back full time in January. Good luck I hope everything works out for you!

It just depends on who you want there. If you want to take a chance that people might not go due to finances pick the resort you really want. If it is more important to you that everyone be able to go then pick the resort they can afford. There is no right or wrong answer. It just depends on what you want.

What exactly is charting?? I mean other than when you start and stop your period. What else do you chart?

My husband listens to the Howard Stern show constantly in his truck. He loves him. I'll have to let him know. She sure is a lot prettier than he is.

We just started TTC a month ago. I haven't charted or done anything proactive other than the obvious. My DH is out of town for two weeks a month though so it will be difficult. I already have gone through the emotion of thinking I was prego then having my dreaded period. What a let down. One of my BF has been trying for four months and she is charting and having he DH sprout his seed at a certain time then elevating her hips then making him hydrate and do it again 45 min later. lol But she called me crying yesterday that she is not pregnant. I read several articles stating that the harder you emotionally long for a baby the harder it is to concieve because you stress your body into thinking you are pregnant then it's not at it's prime to get pregnant, or something like that. Anyway, great thread Calia. I haven't told anyone that we are TTC because I don't want the stress of having to tell them I'm not pregnant. So, I guess we will see how it goes.

I say go for it. We started "trying" right before we left too. I say trying, I just stopped using protection of any kind. I say go for it!!! I'm still not prego and it's been a little over a month. Sometimes it can take a long time. My friend has been trying (like hardcore by the book) for six months with no luck! Good luck to you! And I can't believe how soon your wedding is! YAY!!

So if the Zoo was closed it had to be at night right? So, WTF is a seven year old doing alone at night Poor little lizards. He is lucky he didn't get eaten by the crocodile!!

I guess I am the minority. I don't think it is that big of a deal. Nobody there knows her so I am sure it won't be a big event. We celebrated one of our guests anniversarys while we were there and everyone had a lot of fun with it. If he does it at like the welcome dinner or at your reception yeah I would be pissed but he seems like he is trying to be considerate of you. And your FI gave him the go ahead. Just roll with it. Chances are if they get engaged they will spend a lot of time alone and not all up in your business anyway. Ps it would really suck if she said no though.....
