  1. Your pics are great; you have the same big, happy smile in all your pics! Can't wait to see your pro pis! What a cool surprise you did with the convertibles, everyone must have loved them!
  2. This is completely embarrassing and I want to make sure I'm not the only one going through this, but I've noticed I've had a lot of gas lately. I know that's normal with pregnancy, but it's kind of getting out of hand. I was never like this before, I ate beans, veggies, anything and never really had gas. Now, I feel like I can't control it sometimes. I actually farted and didn't even know it in my co-worker's office yesterday. I had to use the restroom, but I was trying to hold it as much as possible and all of a sudden I smelled it! I was horrified! I pretended not to notice the smell and I just kept on talking. I didn't feel it come out at all! Any one else having gas issues?!
  3. I got pregnant a little over a month after we got married It was important to me to finish school and become financially stable before I got married and started having children. So, when I did get pregnant my DH and I were very secure and relieved with the fact that we would be able to afford a baby without struggling. You should finish your schooling for sure! Especially with the economy today, you need as much education as you can to make yourself stand out from everyone else when it comes to the job market. Maybe get a second puppy and it will take up all your time and give you lots of love!!!
  4. she's adorable! I love that she's already looking right at the camera!
  5. I just wanted to say I'm so sorry to hear what you are going through. Like everyone else has said, you are amazing and so brave for the decisions you have made regarding the situation. I wish you and your family the best of luck with what ever comes your way in these next fews months. Please stay strong and know that you have an amazing group of girls here that will listen to you when ever you need it!
  6. You will completely regret it if you don't do a TTD shoot! Even though I was sick that day, I liked my TTD pics better than my wedding pics! I just felt that my TTD pics came out better just because of the fact that I was much more at ease because the wedding was over and I was able to be silly and playful in the pics (much more natural). Plus, if you don't like the idea of getting your dress wet, you don't have to. Just take pics everywhere else but in the water. Or like others have mentioned, buy a cheap dress and trash that instead. I wore my wedding dress for the TTD shoot and it's still chillin in a trash bag. I just haven't taken it to the cleaner's
  7. I feel the same way every else does, she disgusts me! At first, I was intrigued by the story especially because she had the babies at the same hospital where I go for my prenanal care. My DH and I thought it was a kind of cool we could say that our child was born in the same Kaiser that the octuplets were born. Now, as the story goes on further, she just has me in complete disbelief. The fact that she would bring all those kids in to her crazy world is very upsetting. She is being so selfish and has no idea what effects her decisions are going to have on all those kids. Even her mom said she was tired of taking care of her daughter's children and that her daughter has never once spent her own money on those kids. Plus, did you see the house? They showed pics of the kids' rooms and they were a mess with very little room to move. It's a shame because we will all end up paying for her child obsession since she obviously has no income and those kids will just suffer.
  8. I just had a slice of red velvet cake yesterday at CPK. It was sooo good!!! Not to mention I almost ate an entire pizza by myself! I love their food!

Once you meet with the coordinator, you can pay for you passes then and she will have them ready for your outside guests or vendors the day of the wedding. So, you don't have to worry about passing them around while you are busy getting ready for the wedding! Sorry I replied so late but I never saw your thread. Feel free to ask me any other questions you may have.
  10. Lately, I've been craving chips and salsa (i prefer homemade) and I seriously eat this for dinner every night! I crave a sausage biscuit every morning from McDonald's but I try not to eat give in. I've been buying one 2 or 3 times a month since I've been pregnant, so that's not too bad. I'm sure in the next few days I'll develop a new craving and become obsessed with it....
  11. Oh Shea, she is soooo cute!!! Congratulations to you and your hubby!!!!

I just try to make them healthier snacks. since you are only supposed to eat 300 extra cals a day, I try to keep that in mind. So, for my first breakfast (7am) i have two pieces of toast and a half a glass of milk. Second breakfast (9:30) I have a bowl of fruit and a hard boiled egg (I only eat the white). Then for elevensies (which today is at 10:30!) i eat a 100 calorie pack or a treat (today is banana nut bread). Then I'll have lunch. Then I'm usually good from lunch until dinner... but I sometimes need a 3pm snack so i try to eat another type of 100 calorie pack or a banana or something simple. Ha ha, you sound like me! I don't have morning sickness anymore (sometimes a bit in the evenings still), but my appetite has sky-rocketed so I'm back to eating my little meals and snacks all day long. Example- this was my intake yesterday: 7:00a piece of toast 8:00a whole wheat bagel and OJ 9:30a handful of almonds and cashews 11:00 nectarine 12:00 chicken breast and mashed potatoes (frozen food) 1:30 no-sugar jello cup 2:30 string cheese 4:00 apple 5:00 a lot of chips and salsa (i'm obsessed I have this everyday!) 6:30 vegeterian sausage patty with cheese and whole wheat english muffin ( i love eating breakfast at night) 7:30 brownie (couldn't resist) 9:00 cottage cheese and some crackers And I love water, so I drink tons of it through out the day So, I hope this doesn't sound excessive, because this has been the standard eating schedule I have had now.
  13. Geez, I can't stop eating! I'm eating every 1 1/2 hours. I hope this is normal because I don't want to be gaining more than I should. I feel guilty enough that I haven't even worked out since I became pregnant! When did you girls notice your appetite increase?
  14. I was about to suggest the same thing- maybe the dog is eating too fast? We use to have to portion control our dog's food when he was a puppy because he would eat so much, so fast, he would vomit. Because we have a great dane and he's very expensive to feed, our vet suggested we use the Costco brand food because it's half the price of big-name brands and it has the main ingredients that nutritious dog food should have. We were spending double the amount on a big name brand and turns out the main ingredient was corn which is obviously just a filler. We were told to make sure that the main ingredient in the food is always meat (chicken, lamb, whatever). Our dog has been very happy with that food since we switched.
  15. I know, I was shocked when I heard this. My hubby works at the station where Chris Brown surrendered himself. Although he wasn't working that day, he got calls from his friends about it. I didn't believe it until I actually saw it for myself. I hope Rihanna is doing well and if Chris did indeed hurt her, I hope he gets what he deserves!
  16. Congrats, Mo! He's such a cute baby!!
  17. Ok, bored at work, so here I go.... 1. I met my DH at a pub. He approached me and we began talking about our parents. Before we knew it, we found out that my mom and his parents all grew up in the same town in Mexico (tiny town, amazing any one knows of it). His dad's house was one house away from my grandparent's house. We also have mutual cousins (through marriage, no blood!). I knew from that day we met for a reason and we've been together since. 2. I have a blacked out butterfly tatoo that I got when I turned 18 on the side of my lower back. I hate it! 3. I have a Great Dane, Apollo, that's 150 pounds, but he thinks he's only about 10 pounds. 4. My parents separated when I was 12 got back together a year later, then seperated again when I was 22, divorced when I was 25 and they are still the best of friends. I think they needed to end their marriage to work on their relationship. I think they are working things out now. 5. I hate crickets! They scare me because they jump. 6. I'm so scared, yet so happy, about being pregnant. 7. I use to be a gym-aholic, but I got lazy once I got married and pregnant! 8. I saved a lot, along with DH, to be able to buy a home. We are currently in escrow for our new house and we will be renting out the house we have now (DH bought it 7 years ago). I'm very proud of us because we both worked hard and gave up a lot to be able to own two homes. 9. I speak English, Spanish, and learning German 10. Even though I'm not a very shy person, my face turns bright red somet imes when I first meet someone (especially at work) 11. I really want a massage right now 12. My first car was a 65 mustang. It left me stranded every where, but I loved it! 13. I wish stretchmarks and cellulite didn't exist 14. I'm eager to start feeling my baby kick 15. I have had bad eyesight since I was very young. I started wearing glasses in the 6th grade. 16. Instead of a quincenera (it's a hispanic celebration when a girl turns 15), I went to Europe for a month. It was a school program and I had an AMAZING time. 17. I feel old now that I'm married. 99% of all my friends are still single and I feel left out sometimes. 18. I need to buy a another car. I have a two seater right now and not very baby-friendly. 19. My DH has a bad a@$ sandrail we ride in the desert. I can't drive it because I don't know how to drive a manual car. 20. I'm addicted to my iphone 21. When I was in the 4th grade, I ditched my class because I didn't do my homework and I was afraid I would get in trouble. The school called the police and I was found a few blocks away. 22. I love waking up early and eating a full breakfast 23. I have 26 year old brother that's trying to be a fire fighter 24. This economy worries me 25. I love CA weather. I don't think I could ever live any where else.
  18. Yay Kelly, it's a girl!! Congrats!
  19. Ahh, I'm sorry you are down today because of the fight If it makes you feel any better, I'm sure most couples had that same fight (multiple times) through out the wedding planning process. Although my DH and I were eye to eye on the amount of our budget, he was also insisting that some things were just a waste of $$. But, I didn't hear any crap from him when our guests were enjoying our OOT bag goodies or when we were complimented on our wedding invitations. Boys are just dumb sometimes! Cheer up, you have some many things to look forward to these next few days! Good luck and I hope your day gets a little brighter!
  20. Congrats! You looked so pretty and you couldn't see the bump at all! You're son looked so adorable in his little suit!

  22. I would suggest using the search tool and type in brochure or welcome brochures and/or letters. That's what I did when I needed inspiration for mine and I found tons of great posts and pictures. Here's what I ended up creating for my prewedding brochures: Good luck!
  23. Sorry I'm late posting this but, Shea, your nursery and belly pics are so cute! It sure does look like you dropped! I hope I'm all belly like you are! Good luck and I hope you are feeling well. Congrats, Mo! Can't wait to see baby pics.
