She currently sees a specialist at the Pediatric Lipid Clinic through Mac and apparently they don't have a Pediatric Lipid Clinic in London. Any thoughts?!?!?! Sorry, I'm no help either Keep us updated on your daughter - hope everything goes well! Coincidentally, this was in the LFP today: http://lfpress.ca/newsstand/2008/12/01/7600396.html
  2. I'm an RN too! I worked in psych here in London for a bit after graduation before going back to school - I'm at UWO getting my law degree...and should be studying for finals right now...hope your drive home was ok Kayte....

  5. There are a couple threads on this already....check out: http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t28267 http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t4416 http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t26213 In the last one, I posed a bunch of GTA photogs. Good luck!
  6. Here are a few other threads: http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t2088 http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t16710 http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t8091
  7. Here's a pic of ours - just blurred out names. We went pretty simple. If you search, there is a whole thread of programs around here somewhere....
  8. I'm down too, as long as my crappy school schedule doesn't get in the way. I live in London and go to UWO. Good idea Amanda!
  9. wow it is beautiful!! It would be a great TTD too!!
  10. Hey Karina - sounds beautiful! You'll def want to post pics though - check out this thread for links on how to post them here: http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t32313
  11. Melissa, everything looks fantastic!! Have a wonderful trip and can't wait to see pics when you get back!!
  12. Can't wait to hear what you decide to do DB2B....and the pics!! And Kate, post the pics of your shower after the weekend!!
  13. I'm with Melissa, Kate, and doing ziplining instead. I had another bride tell me that the catamaran tour she did wasn't as fun as the ziplining, and since we're only planning one group activity during the day (Wednesday), we figured we'd do this instead. I have a ton to do too!! Ordering pre-wedding welcome brochures from VP this weekend so we're sure to have them in time for handing out at xmas, along with luggage tags, magnets, and a little postcard thing. Is it already halfway through Nov?!? How did this happen.... Going home this weekend Kate?
  14. haha, I haven't seen that either, and I shop at LS all the time (mainly online though). Plus, I LOVE the spirit collection - we recently got a full spirit store too, which is great, but I still find the deals online unbeatable.
  15. And right below the reno pics is a couple from PF - such gorgeous pics!! Michelle is my photog so I'm crazy excited to see them. YAY!!
  16. Kate and Melissa - Michelle Turner posted some more pics on her blog - looks so great!!! Michelle Turner I'm still blown away by the sand beach right outside now....
  17. Hey Katherine - I can't see the pics here, but I'll check back later to see your dress! A mod might need to move this into the attire subforum rather than the planning journal section - here's the sticky on what the planning journal section should be used for: http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t24417 welcome to the forum! you'll love it.
  18. Hey Caroline, Here's my thread where I have my menus done using brochures - see later posts in that thread for my detailed instructions. When using brochures, you don't just forward info - you have to design them yourself using the site. It takes a bit to get used to, but start playing around with it - after you've created an account, you can use the "save for later" button to save your work and come back to it later. You can upload photos yourself on the site (for a small one-time fee, no matter how many items you use the same pic on). http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t29750 I did my programs using the oversized postcards. IMO, the regular postcards would be too small for menus. Ashrose is right - you shouldn't pay for anything on VP except shipping! Sign up for their emails and you'll be able to get almost all products for free. Good luck!!

I'm thinking this is a good job for FI - I'll show him your pics tonight!!
  20. Those look fabulous!! We have tons of finger starfish and wanted to do something like that - I love the look of yours! How did you make the ribbon stick out on either side from the back like that? Do you just have one hole in the card behind the starfish, and then tie a knot on the back??

  22. I always feel better after making lists!! Of course, when I see how big it is, it can be a little disheartening, but it feels good to at least get everything down on paper. If you search on here, Becks posted a great to-do list in excel that you can use to check off stuff you've done and keep you on track, time wise.
  23. I love this dress so much - gorgeous. I've already bought mine, though Good luck selling it!!
  24. Plus showers and bachelorette parties in January.... I think in January, we'll be posting things like omg there is so much to do!!
