Not at all a silly question and it is a little confusing. If you chose to have your legal ceremony at DC you will need to have your documents apostilled. What this means is that your State certifies that it is an original document. They basically verify that the person who signed it is legitimate and all. I tried looking it up for Fredericton NB but didnt have any immediate luck. Do you have anything equivalent to a Secretary of State department? Thats who did it for me.

Welcome and congratulations!!! We stayed in the Presidential Suite in the Pyramid and loved it but if we go back we would stay in the jacuzzi suite in the tower. Some of our friends stayed in that room and the view is breath taking. It does not matter if you stay in the tower or not, everyone can use the pool and beach there. Though it is a lot less crowded.Quote:

New job started Monday. Since I had to retire from my love, being a police officer. I decided I still wanted to be in the public service field. So I got hired by an agency who dispatches for 7 area police departments and fire departments.

DJ wise I paid $1100 for Carlos from Mannia Audio and it was for 5 hours and the illuminated dance floor. -

Yes it got pretty dark but because of the DJs (Carlos from Mannia Audio) lights and the dance floor plus the lights under the table it was perfect. The closest bathroom was in the lobby of the Tower. The illuminated dance floor was $350. I dont know if the price is the same but I bet it is pretty close. The tiki torches are a ficture around the resort, they are lighted every night by a guy who blows a konch shell and has a huge flame with him, yikes so those are always there. Hope this helps!! We stayed in the presidential suite in the pyramid, totally awesome and didnt cost much more then the jacuzzi suite. But we visted our friends in the jacuzzi suite and it was very nice and the view was breathtaking...for whatever all thats worth.Quote:

On our contract Gaby gave us a list of prices
The dreams ultimate package is $2650
blood work $330
translation of birth certificates $110
validation of certificates $181.5
renting the sound system for the ceremony at gazebo $198
total: $3469.5
chair bows are extra - not sure on exact price - i know i have it somewhere
lights under the tables are extra
extra gazebo decor
So that is mainly just the basics - about $3500 for the biggest package - don't forget to add in room and airfare as well.
Great deal though with everything you get in the package . . .

We did no gazebo decor, it didnt need it and I thought the price was ridiculous for a 20 minute ceremony. I didnt miss it at all. The chair bows were like $3.50 per chair and that is for the use of them at the ceremony and reception. Their is a huge variety of color including animal print for someone to get sassy with. We did the undertable lighting it was about $25 per table and totally worth it. Other then that I didnt really upgrade. Let me know if you have any other questions. -

We had Carlos and Mannia Audio but I dont think there would have been an extra charge to do it on the beach if we had not hired them. I loved it on the beach and wouldnt have done it any other way!
