I live in SJ & am getting married in Cabo this August. My guests & I had no problems booking directly through Alaska Airlines in & out of SF. Just call the airlines directly, I know they have direct flights in & out of SFO, possibly Oakland too.

Did the Dr. clear her to fly at all? I fly in private jets like Citations & Gulfstreams (for work) & there can be a lot of pressure in your ears depending on where you are going, I don't think it's a good idea to fly a baby in Gwen's condition, even in a PJ. Driving is probably the safest route, sorry...

Negotiate a lower price with them, or better yet, have your WC do it for you. I'm a Sheraton bride, and I've negotiated a much lower rate for beer, wine, soft-drinks, & margaritas that was much cheaper than the $40/hr rate.

I'm in love with that layout, it's on the top of my magazine clipping pile. I'm so getting them for my wedding.

24-36 hours for mine in Cabo. 5 days seems like a long time for an email response.

My advice, join a boot camp in your area that meets 3-5 times a week for at least an hour. I've been doing this for 6 weeks & keeping a food journal and I've lost 7 inches off my waist, 3 off my chest, 2 off my arms, & 1 off my thighs. You don't loose much weight because you put on so much muscle, but you get really toned & look great in no time. I highly recommend joining a boot-camp, it's worth the money. I'm one of those people that has to drag themselves to the gym kicking & screaming, so boot-camp is great for me. My trainer & I are aiming for 0 APF (armpit fat...come on, you know what I'm talking about...) by the wedding

My WC does most of the coordination with the Sheraton, so I don't interact much with them, as they are notoriously bad at communication. Sottero & Midgely & Maggie Sottero have tons of gowns; many of their dresses are similar to this design. You still have some time, so you can wait a few more months to look for another dress & shop around for pricing. Both of these labels have websites, take a look at their other designs & pricing, maybe you can find a similar design for a few hundred bucks less by shopping around. In the end, make sure you buy the dress you really love.
