I'm a total "stress ball" as well. Labor day weekend was the worst. O'k so yes I'm about to vent.... First of all, Friday was my dress fitting.. Well unfortunately, the seamstress did not make it as she had a family emergency and can't do the dress. Now I guess I should mention that this woman is a friend of a friend who was going to alter the dress for a little of nothing. So that was Friday and I didn't want to deal with it. I then took about 5 hours to work on my program and the welcome letters. As SOON as I was done, the computer shut off and NOPE didn't save my programs. Ok so now I really want to cry but I'm still trying to make it. Then my sister comes over and we get in a really big verbal altercation and I had to ask her leave my house as it was escalating to the point of no return. Later, that night when I'm trying to forget the events of the weekend, I look for my sleeping pills and there gone. Yes my sister stole them--Knowing very well I can't sleep. Ok if that’s not enough, my brother calls me to tell me that he books his flight for my wedding oh but wait, he didn't realize that it is in Mexico and he booked it for ATL WTF is really going on... I've had it.... So today I found someone who could alter the dress, but she is costing me an arm and a leg.... Sorry to vent guys.. I don't know what I would do with out this forum.... Anywhoo....... I need a really strong drink!!! Kat have a Wonderful time.. Take lots of pics for us....... Anyone else traveling, be safe, take pics, and I can't wait to hear the reviews..

Hey Amanda; Finally, someone out there has my exact same problem. I am a 34 DD and I went for my fitting today. The dress is too big and she said I have to wear a bustier. The only other option was to have one made inside the dress.. The one she had in the shop is lace. So it wasn't so bad. I guess the thing for me is once I walk down the aisle and take pics.. IT'S COMING OFF.... So yes it's a little uncomfortable, but we have big bust and must accommodate.

Just want to give Kat a big thank you for being sooooooo very supportive to us September brides. Kat, you always lend a hand and have a calming effect w/your words. Thanks again. I'm still stressing, but I figured whatever I'm missing, no one is really going to know but me. So, I'm taking it one day at a time.

I was just talking to my neice about what I'm doing with not only my hair but my girls hair as well. I want them to be able to enjoy themselves in the pool, but yet keep it cost effective. So what I'm thinking is taking some hair and sewing it in the girls hair the night before the wedding and just getting my hair done at the resort. I'm looking for simple hair do's that my neice can do on her own. Any ideas would help greatly.

I have the last dress fitting on 8/29. I have just completed sending all my thank you card for the recent briday showers. I'm packed and I have to pack my girls up too. I guess what is bothering me is that Septmember is such an overwhelming month for me. My son turns 18, My youngest turns 9, my bday is the 12(guess no will have the time or money for my BD) and I just feel like I got no support. I think i'm missing just the little things but I just can't figure it all out. It's like a bluuuuuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr......

I've been searching all over myself. I went to hobby lobby, target, walmart. Nothing so far.. Hobby Lobby did have the sand for only $1.25. I did see a previous thread about the sand cermony. If you search the threads, I'm sure you'll get the information needed. Good luck!

God, my story is exactly the same and I thought I was alone. I bought my dress 5 months ago and 2 sizes too small. Now I really don't like the dress and its too big(the only good thing). I think it's too much dress for me b/cause I'm only 5'0. Whatever, the case I'm hoping I love the dress after the alterations and after I accessorize.. Hang in there....
