Thanks for the warm welcome and advice! I have recently booked Stacey Wight for my photographer. She is in Punta Cana photographing 2 other weddings that week. She does amazing work and jumped on the "discounted" rate of brining her down (spilting with the 3 of us is a great deal!) I am looking forward to chatting with everyone!

Are there any RIU brides out there? I am getting married at the RIU Palace Macao on the 29th of January. We have about 35 guests attending and I recently booked Stacey Wight from Southern Ontario for my photographer. What about everyone else? How is the planning going?

Looks like I am the lone Riu Palace Macao bride! We are heading down to Punta Cana for our wedding at the end of January (wedding date is the 29th to be exact!)

Hello Everyone! My FH husband and I are heading to Punta Cana, DR at the end of January for our destination wedding. Our actual wedding date is January 29, 2008. We have chosen the Riu Palace Macao as our resort. We have about 30 people attending; quite a number of them are under the age of 8, including our 20 month old son Carter. Now that the guest list has been pretty much finalized, I am in the process of looking into a photographer for the wedding. From my last email with the WC it seems as though a new on-site photographer is working at the RIU. I have yet to see any of his work and am a little weary. I am looking forward to chatting with everyone!
