  1. If you type ROR in the search you will not come up with any results. I thinks thats because it is so common on this site. If you just scroll back a couple of pages you will find more than you ever wanted to know about ROR. Happy reading!
  2. Erin posted some great pointers. To answer one of your questions the only way to keep up with all the info is to quit your job and spend every waking minute on the computer. I would use the search and scroll through the ROR threads because there is so much info to be found. Then post when you need specific info that you can't find. Just remember that there are tonnes of brides who have either been to ROR or are going and they all have all the info you need. Don't get stressed, all you need is right here.
  3. Can you afford $50pp for the poolside reception?

  5. $10/head oh common I want a discount!
  6. If Jamaica grows money on trees I will take some more $$$$ On a serious note. If you have the free decorations for the gazebo I would love to see those and find out how you arranged those with Chandlyn. Does she ask you what colour of tulle etc you want. Or is it always white with birds of paradise. If not it is no big deal. The important things is for you to have an amazing trip!

Oh don't worry about it. I would book it for sure. You don't have to put a deposit down. At least I didnt have to for Seagrape I just told her I wanted it and she said she would reserve it for us. Also what happens when the other bride that day wants to book something? You dont want to be out of luck. Plus if it rains I want to crash your party

  9. I picked seagrape. So I will see you at the disco at 11!
  10. I would just like to get some confirmations about times at ROR: Check in - 3pm Check out - ? Dinner at Mammee Bay post ceramony - 6 or 6:30? Seagrape rental - 8-10? Disco - opens at 11?
  11. I am planning welcome drinks, nothing formal for our guests the day we arrive. I am looking for suggestions for a bar and a good time to meet that is semi private (I dont want to spend money on this). We were thinking around 5pm before dinner. We are just looking to introduce everyone. I am probably not going to arrange this with Chandlyn as it is just a quick/informal thing. Any suggestions past ROR brides?

  13. I dont know if this helps but when I email her in the subject line I only put my booking/confirmation number. She has always gotten back to me timely. I also keep the email short and sweet and sign it again with my #. Maybe that helps?

The Beach Reception is that for Seagrape? If it is I thought it was $10/pp
  15. Chicklet, what decoration stuff did you get?
  16. Has anyone booked and paid for their guests to attend an excursion in and around Ocho Rios i.e. Dunn's River Falls? We have emailed Lees travels and gotten a quote per person despite asking for a group rate. We are really interested in their Taste of Jamaica cruise. I have asked what the discount would be for a group over 20ppl and have not gotten a straight answer. We would like to do this as a gift for our guests but dont want to spend an arm and a leg.
  17. We may have a criminal travelling in our group. He looked into travelling and the only problem was with entering the USA. He found no problem with going to Jamaica. This did not include an actual pardon which takes awhile. He spoke with others who said they have had no problem, only going to the US.
  18. I have her phone number as 876-972-2200, however I have never tried calling to speak to her, but that is from her business card.
  19. Does anyone have Tai Flora's Email address? I would like to email first for pricing ideas.
  20. I am going to do it whenever everyone else says they are. LOL. I am so lazy at doing things. Love the destination wedding. Sooo lazy!
  21. My understanding from reading other girls posts is you really dont get much more in the way of decorations with the royal. I can't figure out what you really get more with the royal, for the price.
  22. I got a quote from floral fantasy that they will ship to ROR for $50 + taxes. There prices seemed a little better than Tai Flowers, not considering the transportation costs.
