I would like to maybe book 2 more hours on the recption so it finishes at 12.30 instead of 10.30pm. You can have the ballroom up until 1am. The extra hours is 60 usd per table of 10 an hour. How did you find out there are other weddings on your wedding day. I looked on their website for availability on my wedding day and nothing comes up. I am not sure if that means all the slots are taken up, because when I last look there was only mine and another wedding on that day.

  11. Hi Melissa Your pictures are amazing, the resort photographer did a brilliant job, WOW!!!! Did you ask for the photographer to take pictures in your room before the wedding?? What was the suite like you stated in on the grand moon side? What side did all you guests stay on? Did you request the grand moon side before you arrived? and did you book the suite before you arrived?

Hi Cutierosie I have booked my cocktail party location, gazebo, ballroom and welcome dinner with Maribel Blancarte, she e-mailed me to confirm the times, dates locations of all my events. I was told that In order to hold the function space she needed the form she sent me to be filled out with the following details welcome dinner date, time and resturant location Cocktail date, time and location wedding reception dinner and dance, date, time and location. And any extras I would like I sent her the above information filled out on the form and she sent me back an e-mail confirming everything. She has also put on my file that I want a Religious non-denominational ceremony. I hope this helps Thanx

  16. Hi Sharla, great review and fantastic pictures. Just a few questions I would like to ask you: Did you get 2 hours free with your cocktail party or 1 hour free for booking 10 rooms or more? Did your upgrage photo package include pictures of the coctail party and reception? Also could you have the photographer taking pictures while you was getting ready? Did any of your guests stay outside the resort? if so did the resort charge the guest passes to your room? Did you have a welcome dinner for your guests? if so what resturant? How much did your bridesmaid flowers cost? Did you get to choose the gazebo?

  18. Hi everyone I am getting married at the moon palace next year July. I have booked with Virgin holidays and through their wedding department. I am not sure how many people we have coming to mexico yet. In may I should find out the exact date for our wedding. I am going to book the top package most prob with the hotel, it depends on what virgins packages offer, their new packages are out on the 22nd may 08. I actually think the hotel would be cheaper. I am trying to get most of my guests to stay at the Moon palace. otherwise we would have to pay out for guest passes, as well as having a private cocktail party and private dinner and dance. This would cost a fortune.It would cost roughly £80 for every guest who is not staing at the moon palace. That price includes the day guest pass, cocktail party and private dinner and dance. What has everyone else planned to do after the wedding
