  1. Those look so nice. I love the scroll idea, I also had scrolls as our invites, they look beautiful!
  2. We bought our home last year and since it was brand new we thought there wouldn't be much to do. HA! It's never ending. We live less than 2 miles from Home Depot which I actually like going to (plus my ring sparkles like crazy there) but everytime we go it reminds us of something else we can do so we just put it on the list for next time. Right now we are in the middle of finishing our basement and our bathroom, or should I say my bathroom!!! The only thing I have complained about doing was sanding that was awful. Is there anything you guys hated or really loved doing?
  3. It's time to break out their dolls, hats, pins, and my old acid wash dungaree jacket because I will be at their concert in Boston in Sept.
  4. Congratulations!!! Everything looks great, can't wait to see more pics!
  5. You did a great job with everything!! I love, love, love the bags they must have taken forever!
  6. You're right about the place cards and table numbers not being needed. I have less than 30 guests coming. After I wrote that I realized it seems pointless, for me, because of the small group and FI doesn't want them either. Ok I scratched two things off our list of to do's!

I am in the process of making our centerpieces, candles for the oot bags, hankies for our moms, moh, and g. mothers, which I have but I want to dye and sew a message on. I want to also make our menus, place card holders and table numbers. It sounds like a lot but I have some time and they aren't major projects ( I hope). If I can make it rather than buy it and have it still look classy and nice than I will, anything to keep costs down
  8. I had heard that also but I'm not too worried. I checked the weather there throughout Nov. 2007 and it was sunny almost everyday. It is a bit more cloudy but the temperature doesn't fluctuate too much it's still high 80's in Nov. November is the only month that not too much goes on. It's not the high season or hurricane season, don't worry it's going to be great!!
  9. I booked a year in advance to get a Saturday ceremony at 4:30.
  10. Thanks for posting your pictures, everyone looked like they had such a great time. I finally get to see what a reception is like at the Plantation Thanks again
  11. Congratulations! How was the dinner at the Plantation? We are having our reception there so I am curious about the food and service. Thanks.
  12. Your pictures are beautiful, I love how everyone seemed to have some type of black on in the group picture, did you ask them to do that? You looked beautiful your dress was so white and pretty!

  14. It looks like everyone had such a fun time, thanks for the pictures.
  15. Ok I'm a bum. I have six months to go and I have bought my dress and a couple of things for my OOT bags and ummmm that's it. I know what I want for things but I haven't actually bought much. I wanted to be done by July but the rate I'm going that's when I'll start. I can't believe how organized everyone is, some of the girls getting married in 2009 have way more done than I do. At least I'm not stressed about anything, I'll look at it that way and feel better about it!
  16. Thanks for the great review. I love your dress, it is so beautiful I can't wait to see the rest of your pictures!
  17. Congratulations! I also got engaged on our favorite beach down the Cape... so romantic! Have a great time planning!

The rhinestones are practically blue and they look like they have been worn. I sent an email to the company and I am returning them tomorrow. I can't believe they are the same shoes I looked at online. If you were interested in these shoes I would not buy them.
  19. I wasn't sure what we were gonna do for gifts and this is a great idea so now I'm thinking of doing something like this, maybe a Pat's game.
  20. I was a HUGE New Kids fan when I was younger. I am from the Boston area and I used to waitress at this nice restaurant on the water and I waited on Donnie Wahlberg 2 years ago. He was really nice but I could tell he wanted me to acknowledge who he was b/c after a while he asked me if I knew who he was, I laughed and said yes trying to act like it was no big deal but really on the inside I was giggling like a little girl! I didn't get his autograph b/c I thought it would be tacky but he was cool to wait on.
  21. Everything looks great. Your dress is beautiful, I love your cake with the limes on the bottom. Congratulations!
  22. Guitar Hero is a bit tougher than Rock Band so if you are ok on Guitar Hero you'll be fine with Rock Band. I already posted about playing Rock Band but I wanted to add (and embarrass myself) that when I'm driving and I hear one of the songs on the radio I think to myself as I hear the guitar parts, "green, blue, yellow, red, blue" etc. Like I know exactly what chord is playing, such a nerd!
  23. We have Rock Band on Xbox 360 and I love it. I am really good at the lead guitar, whenever we have people over (most weekends) we play, it's so much fun. After a few drinks everyone thinks they're a rock god, I want to be in a band now!
