So this is were I am confused. If I do a symbolic ceremony, its not considered legal in Canada? So I have to do a legal ceremony first before leaving.. I appreciate everybody help! I have recieved more responses and help from everybody on this forum then from anywhere else!

Hi! I am planning on getting married at the majestic. Who was your wedding planner? I have been readign that there is alot of extra costs? Which location did you chose? Any tips or advice would be helpful! Thanks Julie

Hi! This is where my fiance and I are confused. We would like to married once and we want to be married catholic. So we thought we could tough out all the paperwork and the stress and just get it done. But from what I am reading - its costs alot? If anybody has the answer to that.. please help. Or we will have to go down and get married civil then come back and get married catholic with our own church. Prefer to only do it once though... Julie

Hi My name is Julie and My fiance name is Pieter. We are planning a September 2008 wedding at the majestic colonial resort. We are still waiting on the actual date because we are having a hard time deciding between civil or catholic! Any suggestions?
