  2. WOW - those pics came out so GREAT!!! You were right, you didn't need to hire a "professional" photographer. I love the close up of the two of you looking right at the camera with the rocks behind you. You eyes really pop and are so blue (and they match your braclet - LOL!!!) Also I like the one of you two sitting in the sand and water, against the rocks and you're head is turned around to kiss Doug - great shot!!!
  3. YAY Martha!!! I'm sooo happy for you!!! I hope today is everything you dreamed it would be. Now hurry back - I'm DYING to see your pics!!!

When I did it the second time (January 200, I narrowed it down to just the few items I liked best, but had a hard time sticking to it. So I have a lot left over that I never used. Since losing weight is really all about the calories, I decided to just use the left over items as "fill in's" for when I want really low calories at a meal. For example, I'll have a Kashi cereal for breakfast, a banana for a snack, a Lean Cuisine Panini for lunch, a 100-calorie snack for my afternoon snack and then a Nutrisystem meal for dinner and then some other chocolate snack in the evening. I'm trying to stick to 1500 to 1700 calories a day and this helps me do it. This with exercise has been helping a lot. However, that piece of Red Velvet birthday cake that I had for breakfast this morning isn't helping me at all - LOL!!!
  5. Thank you ladies!!!! (I'm so feeling the love & the crushes!!!) So far this has been a great b-day. Last night my family came over to celebrate with dinner and cake (we had a red velvet cake that was soooo freaking yummy!!!) And my niece Gretchen and nephew Jack were there (I just LOVE them soooo much.) Tonight we're going to the Mets game (hello, they're finally in 1st place.) And tomorrow we may head to Foxwoods casino in CT for the day. Food, family, the Mets and gambling - this is like the perfect b-day weekend for me. LOL!!!
  6. Sandra, what days are you going to be in NYC? I literally live 5 minutes from LGA. But Brendan and I have plans to go to Alabama to visit his best man for Thanksgiving. I hope there's at least one day when we're both in town at the same time so we can meet up.

Also, I gave out paper shopping bags at the end of the night at my wedding (for guests to carry all their goodies back to their rooms - paper fans from the ceremony, flip flops, pashimas, luggage tag name cards, etc) and I went to Zazzle custom t-shirts and more, create or shop for unique designs shipped in 24 hours to have stickers made with our logo on it and I put them on the bags. It was cute without being over done.
  10. Oh Abbie, that has got to be the cutest, sweetest thing I think I've ever seen. What a good step-mom you are!!!

You know how many times I've gone back and Edited my original thread to add more people?? I think I just need to say this: I'm Jen and my BDW crush is . . . BDW!!!
  12. I went to a wedding once out on long island where we needed to stay over night and the bride gave out "Welcome bags" but they were small paper shopping bags. Have you thought about that. I know they're not as cute as tote bags, but they'll still give the same message. Check this site out for inexpensive bags: Paper Mart Packaging Store

Actually, my new job has been so busy that I haven't had much time for BDW (very bad, I know!!!) So now I try to sneak on whenever I can. I've missed you guys
  14. Amy, your hair looks GREAT!!! It was great when it was long, but it looks SOOOOO good like this too. Good job. Hope the grouchies went away.
  15. Um, why am I not on any of these lists?? (LOL!!!) Actually, I have a TON of crushes on here. Jami (a swear she's my twin), Lizz, Rachel, Carly, Jenn, Amy, Kate, Lauren, Shelley, Stephanie, Jak27, Michelle08, Alyssa, Heidi, Ann, TammyB, Sarah, Trisha, Glenda, so many to name. I know I'm still missing a lot.
  16. WOW Nicole, you're pics are so great!!! And my goodness girl - you've lost so much weight!!! Slow down, you're nothing but skin and bones.
  17. Oh Christine, she's BEAUTIFUL!!!! And she looks just like you - it's crazy!!! Congratulations!!! Enjoy every minute.
  18. YAY!!!! These pics are great!!! They make me miss the Hilton though Kendra honey - you were a GORGEOUS bride!!! Love the dress, your hair, the flowers. I LOVE it all. And I'm so glad you did the ceremony on the beach. How was the Whale Watching Terrace for the reception? Did it all work out the way you wanted?
  19. The best gift I got (actually it was a wedding gift) was a digital picture frame. It holds 3000 pictures and I decided to make it my "wedding picture frame." And considering I have over 2400 pictures b/w what Juan Carlos gave us and what my friends and family gave us, it's perfect!!!
  20. WOW, you look AMAZING!!!! I LOVE it all!!! And your dress!!! My goodness girl, that dress was PERFECT for you. You look ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!!!! I love the way everything turned out. Looks like you had a beautiful day too. Congrats!!!
  21. Check it out - my sister just put this together for me. www.JenandBrendanWedding.com

  24. Wow, your pics came out so nice!!! Everyone looks so good and so happy. Looks like you had a BLAST!!!!
