  1. I thought the title was "tell us something interesting about your neighbor" I was going to tell you that the man is a crackhead (seriously) and that his wife is cheating on him (we think). My hometown is home of the King Ranch. Used to be the largest ranch in the world...I don't think it is anymore. That's all I got.
  2. Those came out great! Everything looks fabulous! You look so beautiful!!!!
  3. Okay, I can kinda relate to most of this. I also have PCOS and we never thought we could have babies. I only have 1-3 periods a year and never know when/if I ovulate. Oh and I only have 1 1/2 ovaries, I had to get one removed because a tumor was growing on it. I also have hypothyroidism and am insulin resistant. To make a long story short. I got pregnant on Valentine's Day but didn't find out until 6 weeks later, after I had gotten really drunk once or twice. I had to cancel my dream wedding dress and reorder a different one that I don't love. I will be almost 6 1/2 months pregnant when I get married next week. That's about the cut off to fly internationally. If you are getting married internationally, you really shouldn't be flying and really I don't think you should fly that late in your pregnancy. Can you postpone your wedding or move up the date a few months? I am sure you are stressed, just try to take it easy. Oh and the only reason I ever too a PG test was because my boobs were sore and swollen...It wasn't until I was later along that I got nauseus and was sleepy all the time. Good luck!
  4. Oh yes, and Noah! He knows too! Thanks girls! Jay has been wearing his ring since yesterday! So cute!
  5. I am congratulating myself because I didn't tell anyone on here I was getting married. It was a last minute deal because we weren't sure which day this week my BFF could marry us. We got married at a coffee shop in Austin over breakfast. No one knows but the 3 of us, and well, now you guys! No pictures....don't even think to bring my camera. We were both in shorts and flip flops anyhow!
  6. I love it, Morgan!!! I never get tired of looking at your pictures!
  7. That hair! Love it! She is getting so big! She is such a beautiful little lady!
  8. Thanks ladies! I got confirmation about paying for minors during poolside reception. If they are over 12, we have to pay 100%, if they are 5-11, we have to pay 50%. This makes NO sense. They CANNOT drink alcohol. This is turning out to be a mess!
  9. We thought about getting married on Marriage Island when we first got engaged. But, really it isn't a good location because of the construction. I think if someone sees a wedding going on, they will stay out of the way (on one of the bridges). I didn't think about the boat rides, that's an option too!
  10. I think I will just stick to bottled water. I am so stressed about becoming dehydrated over there. Ugh! Issues! In other good news, Jay felt the baby kick for the first time a few minutes ago!!!

You don't have to make to rent the actual disco and the drinks are part of the AI. Be careful though, my WC didn't have me down as renting the disco and now I have to pay extra to have it poolside. I have a question: Does anyone know if we can pay for our wedding package on credit card? Just wanted to make sure I didn't have to get more travelers checks or bring more cash than needed. Thanks!
  12. I am still here! In all honesty, Marriage Island isn't worth it. Last time we passed by it, they were doing a lot of construction near there and it was loud. Will you bring someone down there to marry you or are you hiring a JP from here? I think any one of the little bridges on the Riverwalk would be nice. Or even the botanical gardens. There is a beautiful little lake type thing with fish and turtles and a bunch of trees...I think it would be beautiful. You don't even have to tell them you are getting married. Just buy your ticket and walk around! Brackenridge Park is right by downtown and is really pretty. Oh and there are a few nature trails that we hike on, if you are an outdoorsy kinda couple. Let me know what kind of places you were thinking about and I will keep looking!
  13. I have never heard of that book, Jamie. I will have to look into it. I am not taking synthroid. The levoxyl wasn't working well for me, so I switched I think in August. I have to keep taking the synthroid and metformin (for insulin resistance) because it can mess up my body if I stop. I believe that either of these medications or the combo of both aided in getting pregnant. I felt much better after I started taking synthroid!
  14. Ainsleigh really does look like you, Christine! She is beautiful! I am glad everything went well!
  15. Amy, that sucks about the Melia and the church! Sounds like you had an amazing time anyhow! Can't wait to see pictures!!
  16. Mo, I hope you start to feel better soon! No more visits to the ER, okay?! Lizz, congratulations!!!! Karma, You looked so beautiful!!! I can't wait to see your pro pics!! What else did I miss? I have been M.I.A. since Friday when Jay got home. We have been visiting family in our hometown. We had an OB appt. today. I have gained 14 pounds! eek. OB says that's good though. I asked about being cautious in Mexico and he said not to drink the water, just lotsa beer! ha! As if! I wonder if I should take my chances with bottled water down there?
  17. You have to let us know how it goes. I wanted to get it done for the wedding, but that's not gonna happen now!
  18. He is super excited! I am too! Noah is super active at night. The second I lay down he starts kicking! James will totally get over it once he feels him kick! It is crazy amazing!
  19. This was on Nancy Grace last night. The babies that died were twins that were born a month early. The hospital is saying they died from other complications and from being born premature. A month early for twins is not THAT early. The parents are only 17 and 18, I believe. I feel so bad for their entire family!

I'll have to get back to ya on that one! Did they show you how to put on eyeliner? To do it underneath the eyelid? It works wonders! I have to admit, I bought the bronzer and I am so afraid to use it because I am afraid to turn orange. I am so old school!
