I am sure his prices might have changed since our wedding a year ago, but we paid around $800 for his services. We received 2 videos both set to different music of our choice- 1 Highlight video and 1 full video. We had Brian Tsai of Life Mosaics do our pictures and they came out wonderful, but I am also glad we booked Miguel to do the video. Everytime I watch the video I still catch something new I hadn't seen before. I highly recommend him especially if you have room in your budget. If you have any other questions, please email me at cutiecupid15 at aol dot com. Good luck!! Oh by the way, I have our highlight video uploaded to YouTube, so if you want the link, send me an email.
  2. Hey ladies, We just got back from Cabo. We went with 6 of our friends to celebrate our 1 year wedding anniversary. I wanted to let you ladies know that we had a wonderful time, and you won't be disappointed with getting married in Cabo. We stayed a private villa in Costa Azul called Casa Calle, so if anyone is looking for a villa to get married at or stay, feel free to send me a private message if you have any questions. We visited Cabo Wabo, Giggling Marlin, ate at the Office for lunch as well as Senor Sweets. Two of the nights we ate at 2 great restaurants. On our anniversary, my husband and I went to Sunset da MonaLisa. It was absolutely amazing and the food was delicious. If anyone is looking for a great place to have a wedding reception or maybe a rehearsal dinner, I highly recommend having it here. The second restaurant we went to was with 3 other couples who came to Cabo with us was called Morgan's. It's located in San Jose del Cabo. I hadn't really heard of it before, but it was delicious and had a nice romantic atmosphere upstairs. We also did 2 different activities with a company called JT's Watersports. We went parasailing and also did the private charter. The private charter was a great 4 hours, and I think it would be a lot of fun if you are looking to do something with friends and family. Some of our friends went on the pacific side and did ATV's and had lots of fun with them. We also went on the Costa Azul Canopy Tour and Tequila Tasting. My friends really enjoyed it, I though it was alright, but maybe it was because I was a bit hungover, lol. My husband and I went scuba diving at Pelican Rock, and had a good dive. The visibility wasn't as good as the Caribbean, but we say a lot more different kinds of fish, which was cool. That's about it for now, that I can remember. If anyone has any questions, feel free to ask away. Good luck with your planning.
  3. Hi and welcome! I got married in Riviera Maya last May at a private villa. I highly recommend it, if you want privacy with your guests. Let me know if you have any questions or want to see more pics. Here is our slideshow Riviera Maya Yucatan Mexico Destination Wedding Photography by Brian Tsai - Life Mosaics. Good luck with your planning.
  4. Hey there, Thanks for the review. Would you suggest us going there to celebrate our 1 year anniversary coming up? Or should we just go there one night with our friends who are also coming? How private is it? Thanks, Jen
  5. When we were looking at Cabo, I contacted Petter Hatton I believe his name was and he seemed really friendly and professional. Might want to give him a try. Good luck!
  6. I didn't end up using Claudia because we had to change our wedding date and she was no longer available. But, I did meet with her in person on our planning trip. She was wonderful. Also, I stayed in contact with her during our planning process because I used her husband, Miguel for our video. I can't say enough wonderful things about our video. It was absolutely amazing!! I have never seen videos done the way he does them. I highly recommend him, and also Claudia if you are looking for a local photographer. Let me know if you have any other questions. Good luck!
  7. Hey ladies. I am new here. I got married last May in Riviera Maya. If you want to see our pictures, go here to see our slideshow from Life Mosaics: Riviera Maya Yucatan Mexico Destination Wedding Photography by Brian Tsai - Life Mosaics. Anyway, we are going to Cabo this May for our 1 year anniversary. I was wondering if anyone has gone Parasailing in Cabo? If so, what company did you use, was it worth it, etc... Also, does anyone have a recommendation for a romantic somewhat private restaurant with great food that we could go on our actual anniversary? Thanks so much for any info
  8. I also recommend Vanessa. She was awesome. Even though she was due any day and was unable to make my wedding, everything was delivered and just as I wanted, if not even more beautiful. She was also helpful in other areas of my planning as well, since I lost my wc a week before our wedding, and had to plan most everything ourselves. Her website is Cancun Floral Design, Flower Arranging / Diseño Floral en Cancun, Arreglos Florales. I highly recommend her. Let me know if you have any questions.
  9. Thanks ladies for the welcome! We are staying at Casa Calle(www.casacalle.com) in San Jose del Cabo. We are going to be there from May 19-26th. I can't wait!!
  10. We did this, but in Riviera Maya instead. We loved it. We are actually going for our honeymoon this May to Cabo, and renting a villa there. If you want any info, my email is cutiecupid15 at aol dot com. Good luck. I highly suggest doing a villa wedding, so much more private and intimate.
  11. I am new, but I also made these. They are in Adobe. If you would like a copy, my email is cutiecupid15 at aol dot com.
  12. Hi ladies. I just heard about this board from the destination weddings board on the knot. Ok first a little bit about me... I was married last May in Riviera Maya Mexico at a private villa. It was amazing, we were very lucky to have 28 friends and family join us for a week of fun. If you want to see our slideshow from our pro photographer, Life Mosaics, go here: Riviera Maya Yucatan Mexico Destination Wedding Photography by Brian Tsai - Life Mosaics. We are planning an anniversary trip to Cabo this May. It's hard to believe its been almost a year since our wedding. I loved planning our wedding, and I still love to help out other brides. So if you need any help planning a Riviera Maya wedding, feel free to contact me I can't wait to start talking to you ladies.
