  1. I'm sorry you didn't get into the first program you applied for. Good luck with getting into the other one.
  2. They seemed mafioso in the previews. It's funny. So typically Jersey I love it. WTF, I want to live in a freakin McMansion!
  3. Oh yuck. I just hope they don't reproduce. They'll probably have camera crews to film that and I don't think I could stand seeing the miracle of birth featuring Heidi's weird hand movements with every contraction.

She makes me laugh and her and Bobby remind me of so many parents that I knew on Long Island. I feel like she has a good heart I almost forgot about that whole crazy Kelly scenerio. WTF was that all about?! What a biatch! I do think Jill has a good heart. She can be a little overbearing sometimes, but she doesn't seem malicious or mean at all.
  5. Aiden isn't baptized. I don't plan to intentionally raise him as agnostic, but by default that and scientific theory will be what he is initially and mainly exposed to. But he will be exposed to other religions and lifestyles the same way that anyone else is, through socialization. I have friends who are Catholic, Jewish, Atheist, Wiccan, etc. When he's old enough to ask why we don't go to church, temple etc. I will be open with him and also give him to the option of attending a mass/service/whatever and I have no trouble going with him. I don't mind being exposed to various religions via informative teaching. I actually really love learning about religion despite my agnostic beliefs and have a bunch of books on different religions and took a couple of classes on religion in college.

He has this crazy eye look too that totally creeps me out.
  7. I usually wear dresses to formal events even though I'm not a big dress girl myself, but I think you could probably get away with the outfit you described. Have fun!!
  8. I love the Real Housewives of NYC. I didn't really care for it much last season, but I am enjoying this season a lot. Bethanny is hysterical, Kelly is annoying, LuAnn is a SNOB to the extreme, Ramona is a shit stirrer and Jill is so funny with her NY accent. I'm interested to see the NJ one.
  9. That's cute that he was so excited. See, all it took was him finding an awesome bargain to get into the whole wedding thing!
  10. That"s an awesome gift! Those munchkins are adorable!
  11. I've considered myself agnostic since I was 13. I do however enjoy paganism, but I wouldn't consider myself a pagan.
  12. That sucks Carly. I wonder what the hell happened? Hope you figure it out soon, sounds annoying. Have you tried changing the background image completely?
  13. I love, love, LOVE Pinup pictures. This is totally a style I would like to do. I'll have to bookmark the site and keep it in mind. Thanks.

  17. I worked briefly for DYFS (which is NJ's Department of Youth and Family Services). Honestly, it wasn't for me. I'm getting my Master's in Counseling in May so I am going to continue to work in the helping profression and I am planning to work with children, adolescents and familes AND I know I will continue to confront clients in hard situations. That part I am fine with, but the job just wore me out. Case Workers are so overloaded and burnout comes quickly. I do think it's a good thing that you are so empathic when dealing with your clients. I think for some people in the field it's easy to become so jaded and desensitized to client situations just because you see it on a daily basis. You have to compartmentalize it all to a certain degree because you don't want to bring it home with you, but you also don't want to go so far that you remove all empathy and become robotic and detached on the job. I think a lot of these clients are so used to case workers who are just cold.. imagine how comforting it must be for them to meet someone who does actually care. I think it's a good trait that you can bring to the table. Hang in there Bianca. It can certainly be a rewarding job, but it can also be very demanding and overwhelming. Just don't forget to take care of yourself to prevent burnout.
  18. I'm a little late on this Calia, but I can definitely see why you would be concerned. That is very odd. You're awesome for going over there and checking up on her. Please let us know what you find out!
  19. They do look a lot alike. I'm not a big fan of Katy just because I don't listen to that type of music, but I love me some Zooey. She's awesome.
  20. I'm going to start a website called helpmepayformylife.com You can start sending in your donations now. Thanks.
  21. Ah, Laura! Don't second guess yourself now! We ran into that same issue. When we finally (after much debate) picked a name we both liked for Aiden, I suddenly started seeing the name everywhere and learned that it was like the #1 name in the US. I swear, I only ever heard of that name once beforehand, but apparently I was living in a bubble. But we decided to stick with it because we loved it despite the popularity. I LOVE the name Ethan. I totally vote that you should keep it. I gotta admit, the name Benton doesn't do it for me. But it's up to you guys. Would you guys be up for waiting until he's actually born? Maybe once you see him it'll be apparent if he's an "Ethan" or a "Benton"?
  22. He has a man crush on some Boston Red Sox player who's name I can't think of at the moment. He's obsessed with the Red Sox.
  23. I know! I can't wait to see it.
