  3. Crap, now I have to add Amazing Race to my list of of shows to watch. Aaron will be thrilled...

I just think it's interesting that he waited until his name had already (mostly) faded from the news/magazines to hold this press conference.
  5. Wow Zadie, you really had to dig deep for this thread!! FYI ladies, Yolanda posted this a year ago.... she's back now!
  6. I think since you will be eating lobster in front of your guests and you are offering it to them, then you should pay the extra fee, not the guest. If you don't want to pay the extra fee, don't eat lobster!!
  7. You've got the figure for dress#1, it looks fantastic on you! Gorgeous!! Dress #1 get's my vote!
  8. No, I you're probably right. There was a time we had done it, but we discovered that deleting post and threads can lead to this bug so we don't anymore! )
  9. Lauren is right, I would start with wedding reviews. to be honest, there is a lot of information on all three posted on this forum. Try doing a search and posting in the related threads.

Unfortunately Megan, deleting posts/threads can lead to forum issues, therefore it is against forum policy to remove any posts.
  11. lol! I haven't joined, but I'm not surprised that it kicks your butt; that woman scares the heck out of me!!
  12. Could you not just go to an airline's website and entire in the flights as if you're flying now instead of in 11 months if flights don't show up for then yet? I don't see why the flight times would be drastically different from a flight today than they would be in December. Prices, yes. Travel time, probably not.
  13. Welcome to the forum Genevieve!
  14. Megan, your search function is working perfectly fine. I just did the same search and also came up with the thread entitled "The best workout DVDs I have ever owned"; this is because the word "recipe" is contained within that thread. What you need to do is REFINE your search, as Abbie and Carly mentioned above. There are S-E-V-E-R-A-L ways to do this, some of which - again- are mentioned above. I will reiterate some of them for you 1) you need to be more specific than just "recipes". Again, if that word is contained within the thread, your search has done it's job and found every thread with the word "recipes". 2) Narrow your search to the sub-forum that applies to your category of choice. Do not search the entire forum. 3) If you still come up with too many threads, try different keywords that may apply. 4) If there are still too many threads, try to narrow it down by searching for your keyword within the title instead of within the thread. And please, if you are still having trouble and we are closing your threads because they seem useless... don't start a thread apologizing to us. PM a mod so we can help you directly. We are trying to save forum space so things can run more smoothly for everyone. I am now going to close this thread since this information is plastered across the forum already. If you continue to have issues, please PM a mod.
  15. Actually Julie made a pretty good suggestion... why don't you have someone watch him for you during the ceremony, and if you want during most of the reception?
  16. I agree with Maureen... I didn't have my wedding at ROR, but my WC wasn't around towards the end of our reception, so anything that I wanted to keep I had certain people pack up and keep safe for me.
  17. wow, that is a lot of drama for one season!! I haven't seen any "I'm Pregnant" commercials either. Thanks for posting the link Heather!
  18. Have you booked your wedding location already? If not, you could do that through your TA and s/he can arrange everything for you and your guests as well. It doesn't matter if they're local to you/your guests. I used Tammy Host as our TA and she doesn't even live in the same country as I do! You and your guests should be able to contact your TA through email or most have toll free numbers as well.
  19. You can't possibly be serious. You started a new thread because you were too lazy to look through the information that has already been provided for you?? Not only is it incredibly annoying for those of us who volunteer our time to clean up the forum and merge repetitive threads like this, but it is also worthy of your first warning. Do not create a thread out of pure laziness again or you will be banned. this thread is now closed.
  20. I couldn't resist posting these videos of 911 calls made; they're just too funny. Enjoy! YouTube - Best 911 Call YouTube - Police Officer steals Marijuana. YouTube - 911 Call Over Burger King Cheeseburger Order
  21. Ok, I need to know why everyone hated Michelle so much? I don't think she played the game as well as she could have, she made some moves that I didn't completely agree with... but she got called a lot of names by a lot of people! Was there anything on the live feeds we didn't see on TV?
  22. Congratulations and welcome to the forum!! Be sure to check out our Cruise Wedding section of the forum for lots of helpful information.
  23. Actually, I'm glad that Ronnie is HoH this week. I think it'll be interesting since he's tried so hard to be everyone's pal. He made a deal with Jesse last week that he wouldn't put him up this week if he won HoH and I don't think he'll want to piss off the athletes. I think he'll put up two of the least popular houseguests... whatever causes the least uproar. But I'm looking forward to seeing how people react to his nominations, especially since everyone seems to think he's on their side. I think winning HoH will be the nail in his Big Brother coffin. 24. I can only speak for Dreams LC, as that's the only resort I've dealt with. I have no idea how many weddings went on while I was there, and honestly could have cared less!! The wedding coordinators there are so fantastic and attentive. I know Mariana was at our ceremony and reception at the times we needed her... I have no idea when she snuck away, but every last detail (and MORE!) was dealt with. As brides we have so many other things to stress about, there's no point in adding this to the list.
