    right now I have my mind set on not wearing a veil but we will see after i find a dress! I just want to wear flowers in my hair!

    We sent out 150 STD's I believe and we have about 70 people coming and we did it the same way, we told everyone they had until a certain date to book to get the best rate on the room. Also in my X-mas cards I also sent out a reminder and we sent out one final reminder a week before via email. It is great because now we know who is coming and even if we have a few stragglers add on that is fine as well. But for the most part we can plan our budget out correctly! Then again my FI and I are anal so that could be the reason as well!

    Hello I'm not going to be that much help but I did go there this past summer and stayed there for 2 weeks! I would say either go all the way North to the Princeville resort area!! It is beautiful there. Also the south, where I stayed on Poipu was gorgeous!! Those 2 places have all the sun. We would be traveling around and it would be raining in parts but those 2 places always had sun. The island is so pretty because it is so lush and tropical! You will love it there! My FI and his mom have a time share there! I can't wait to go back. Can't wait to hear more on your planning!

    Here is the cake that I'm having. Except the ribbon will be champagne colored and there aren't going to be little white dots all over it, just smooth.

    Jackie, I don't know how much help I can be because I have no idea what the cost of my ring was but I do know that Lance saved a ton of money by buying the diamond seperate from some jeweler that he was referred to by one of his friends and then had the ring built. You can get a great ring for 6K I would focus on color, carat & clarity in that order. Too me those are the most important. You want it to sparkle!!

    I agree!! My FI has a tungsten ring and I have a platinum diamond band!! Very different!! Get what you both like!!

    Yesterday I dressed my cat up and he hates when I do it to him but I had to post these pictures of him because I think he is so cute! I consider him my child! His name is Franklin!
