Moon Palace vs Adventura Cove - HELP!!

Recommended Posts

Hitting a bit of a dilemma... My fiance and I are booked for a December 9th, 2011 wedding at Moon Palace. However, after much research and forum browsing, we have realized that the beach at Moon Palace is not attractive with its dark water and seaweed. There will be kids attending the trip as well as 43 guests so we are looking for an all-age friendly place. We noticed the Adventura Cove and thought it was gorgeous! Please let us know your thoughts about these two resorts!

Thanks so much,

Ashton

Yes... there is some sea weed at the Moon Palace... but it is still a fantastic resort for a wedding!

Here are links to 3 weddings I recently captured there. Best of luck with all your planning!

Aventura has no beach at all, if you are looking for a beach, MP would be the better option of those two.  However for a really nice beach you might want to try Beach Palace.

Hello! I am new to this site however I have the same thoughts as this forum.  I have a wedding booked at The Moon Palace in November 2012. I just recently found this site though and have been reading and viewing.  I am a little concerned about the ocean as well.  Sometimes it DOES look really dark and not quite as beautiful as others.

If those who have had weddings there could repost to reassure me this is a great location I would greatly appreciate it.  My mind would be at ease...THANKS!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
