PHOTOGRAPHY (Grand Palladium Jamaica)

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone, I am new to the site all of your post are very helpful. I am getting married July 15th at the GP in Jamaica, has anyone used the resorts photographer? I have priced some of the vendors in Jamaica and they are a bit pricey! and on top of paying them the resort charges a $300 vendor fee just to let them on the property. Help please....

Hello Ladies,

Congrats to you both on your upcoming weddings!  I am getting married at the GPR/ LH as well.  Our wedding will be 9-10-11, so I can't wait to hear all about your weddings!

I am probably going to go with TrueColours (the resort photographer), but one of my wedding guests also does photography as a hobby, so she will be my 2nd/ back-up photographer.  I usually like snapshots better than posed shots anyways, so I feel confident we will get plenty of pics we love.

Keep me posted on who you decide to go with!  Good luck with everything!

Ii think you should go with True Colors. Am getting married December 10, 2011 at GPR and I will be using them. They are great and their pictures are absolutely wonderful and simply magnificant.  You can't go wrong with them.  I actually met with Judine a few weeks ago when I went down to the island.  She is actually very sociable, down to earth kinda person and we worked out a plan, cause of course I was on a budget. I know it might look like alot of money but once you see your pictures, you will know why. Maybe you guys can work out something too and she will actually call you back if you send her an email or call her.  But you should check out the website, truecolorsphoto.com and look for yourself.

I plan to have only 1 wedding in my lifetime so these pictures are so important to me and meeting with her and talking to her, I feel good so am going to go with them.  I cannot afford mistakes.

Hi Ladies,

I have decided to go with True Colours.  They have updated/ recent pictures on their website that are GREAT!  And they have been very responsive to every question/ email I have sent.  I will be sure to post pictures after the wedding, but you should all check out their blog and their website with the updated pictures if you are still on the fence.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
