Welcome! And congrats on deciding on a resort, that was the hardest part for us!  Try doing a search to see if there are recent threads about that specific resort.  Facebook has also become one of my best friends in connecting with some brides who were married at specific resorts.  Good luck and happy planning:)

Why Hello there!  I am getting married November 21, 2011 at the Grand Sirenis and cannot wait for it!  Though I have not been there for a wedding I have gone to the resort numerous times over the last few years.  It is our favorite place to go and we try to get away once or twice a year there!  I can answer questions about the grounds, accomodations, staff and other general things but am just learning all the wedding stuff as I go!  So it would be very nice to chat with someone else who is going through the same process as me!  Hope you are having luck with your planning!!

Hi My daughter is getting married on July 15th at G S. . There are 41 of us travelling with Thomas cook out of London gatwick. We booked the wedding through TC but all the organisation has been done between ourselves and Araceli - the wedding co-ordinator at the resort. Congratulations on your upcoming wedding - trust me it will b here in no time. We booked the wedding in May last year and we leave in 10 days. Time has gone so fast. Have got lots of invaluable info from this site so am sure u will get any questions you have answered. Happy to answer anything if I can. Good luck with everything Lesley

Hi I've booked my wedding at GS for August 2012. Am just trying to decide what photography package to go for. Our budget is not huge not sure whether to go for the Bronze package or the the Silver which is $640 more. Bronze package we will not get any printed just 120 photos on cds with copyrights. Are there any brides out there who can give me some advice?!

Thank you! x

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
