Wearing Dress After Wedding

Recommended Posts

Does anyone else put on their dress when they are at home doing nothing?? Seriously, I've done this twice. I love my dress so much I like to put it on and remember how I felt during my wedding. I actually figured out how to tie up the corset back by myself, so not even my hubby knows I do this!

Just wondering if I am the only one who is this dress crazy!!!

I will also be this girl when the time comes. We spend so much time finding the perfect dress for the perfect day and we only get to wear it once. that's crazy!

I think every city should have an annual ball where all brides are encouraged to wear their dresses again.

Its funny that you say that because I just got my dress 5 minutes ago and I love it so much. I want to wear it right now...but I know that the next time I put it on it will be my wedding day. I want to feel this happy about it on that day - I dont want to "get used to it" before the big day. I do think that I will wear it once I get home though. We are having a party when we get home - a backyard BBQ thing - but hopefully someone will "talk me into" putting it on :)

Enjoy your dress! :)

I honestly am very thankful that I paid a lot of money to get my dress cleaned and preserved... because they I cannot take it out of the box!

I LOVE my dress. To this day (2 years later) I still love it! I would try it on all the time... and more than likely take pictures in it again too if it weren't cleaned and stored away!

That's a great idea! I think I might start hosting wedding dress parties with my friends so we can all wear our dresses again. I just need more friends to get married! LOL Or they could wear a bridesmaid dress too, that opens up the options for most of my friends!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
