I saw someone post a thread in the Riviera Maya section, so I did a search and wasn't able to find any threads in this section yet about 2011 brides...

Any of you out there?

I'm getting married January 31st 2011, somewhere in PV. Right now it's a choice between Dreams PV and Vallarta Palace...I have a feeling I won't really know until prices come out for 2011 (I'm hoping to hear from my travel agent next week).

So, all you 2011 brides...where are you getting married? Are you EXCITED?? I know I am. I can't wait to actually BOOK everything, and know that it's really coming! As soon as prices come out, I'm going to send my save-the-dates :)

Happy planning everyone!

Las Caletas is a private beach front location near Puerto Vallarta. It is operated by Vallarta Adventures. We are planning on having our wedding there in June 2011. We spent an evening 2 years ago and saw a wedding in the distance. The wedding location is completely seperated from the public.

Hi All, I have been to Puerto Vallarta, and it is great. We stayed in Nuevo Vallarta also known as Riveria Nyarritt, sp? at the Riu Jalusco. It is 30 minutes from downtown PV and the beaches there are a wonderful. However from what I read and see at Dreams PV the beach will be almost the same, probally a little more waves though. I think the convienance of Dreams, no wrist bands, towel cards and reservations for the special dinners as well as the awesome wedding accomodations make it a great choice!

We are planning for April 2011 and the group bookings contact at selloffvacations.com said the prices dont come out until Summer 2010? I am going to contact a travel agent friend to confirm this as that seems a little far away. Most of us are comming from Vancouver Canada.

I cant wait to start booking/confirming things as well. Happy planning

Amanda

This is the most frustrating thing ever, isn't it?? I want to know the prices now!! My travel agent said she might be able to get prices from some of her wholesalers this month, so I am on pins and needles until they come out.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
