Thoughts on Circle Seating? *with a pic*

Recommended Posts

I really like the idea of a "circle of love" around us and of keeping all the energy within the circle. I'm wondering if this will work becuase it seems like all the pics that I have seen of beach weddings everyone is facing the ocean. Has anyone tried to do this and it just not work at a beach ceremony?

This is the idea here: Click the image to open in full size.

I have not tried it but it sound slike a really nice idea and the pics I have seen to support this are always lovely. Have you talked this over with your WC to see if your vision would work based on the wedding facility? I think it would be good if you cleared this up first and go from there.

I love this idea and have considered this ourselves. My issue was we would have to have a good amount of people to make the circle actually work and look great so we decided against it. We have 35 people and its not enough to make 2 circles similar to your pic, the circle would be tiny. which I would feel crowded. and just one circle would be so big I wouldn't feel like they were apart of the ceremony. We are considering doing like a half circle instead of straight rows of chairs. i will try and make a diagram later so you can see if you like that.

Are you having a bridal party? I just don't think the circle works well if you are having a bridal party. They would stand to the side and you would need more room and they would be in the way of your guests seeing you.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
