Le Blanc Spa Resort in Cancun????

Recommended Posts

Hi -

I wasn't married there but stayed there during a vacation 2 years ago for a work event. The did a great job accommodating our group of 30. They planned several parties (socials and dinners) for our group. They did a fabulous job. The resort is amazing.

Here are my thoughts on a few things:

Food - fabulous. The chinese restaurant was so good I still can't get it out of my mind. You could walk into any restaurant without reservations/waiting.

Pool - Really beautiful. You could get great spots at the pool without any issues and the view of the ocean was spectacular.

Rooms - great. Every time we returned to our room it was cleaned thoroughly. You never knew what type of present would be there for you....amazing desserts, mints, towels shaped into swans. It was very cool. The turn down service is great as well. When you returned to your room for the evening the bed and lights were turned down and romantic music was playing.

Service - top notch. The staff really went above and beyond for you. Our concierge even packed up our things so we could have extra time by the pool.

Drinks - They had everything you could possibly want. The bartenders are so much fun.

I think your guests would be blown away. Feel free to PM me if you have any specific questions.

Jen

Hi, we were originally going to get married at Le Blanc - the plans at the time were only close family were coming - but we quickly changed our mind, and seen as Le Blanc is adult only, we changed to Moon Palace to accommodate all the under 18's coming now! But we are going to Le Blanc for our honeymoon - it just looks beautiful! Your wedding will be a dream - from what I looked into it, it will honestly be picture perfect!

We did not stay at Le Blanc but at the sister property, Sun Palace. They have the same exact rooms which are AWESOME!!! I know that Le Blanc is supose to be "a step above" Sun Palace. We felt Sun Palace treated us like royalty so I can only imagine that you will be treated the same. We did meet a couple at Sun Palace that had gotten engaged at Le Blanc last year and they loved it there. The food at Sun Palace was great and this couple said that the food is even better at Le Blanc!! The decor looks the same at both and it's very clean and minimalist. You are going to have an amazing wedding there!!!

I haven't been, but my DH and I are planning a vacation there sometime soon. It looks amazing! I'm glad to hear the food is good. That is always a concern for me, LOL

Please post a review when you return so we can hear all of the details!

Well it's certainly one of the places I've started looking at recently and I love the semi-modern feel it has. I've read a whole lot of great reviews on it.

Hopefully the swine flu will be controlled 100% by the time you've chosen for your wedding date. Please let me know if u decide to go as I might be getting married at the resort next year December.

Hi there! We'll also be hitting Le Blanc for our honeymoon (after our wedding at Secrets Maroma Beach) and I was first alerted to Le Blanc from the program "Whose Wedding is it Anyway?" (I think...or it may have been "Married Away"...they all blur after awhile!) You may want to try to track down the episode to get a really good look at it from the inside-out. Everything I have ever heard/seen has been that the service is outstanding and the venue areas are gorgeous. You cannot go wrong there. Even our travel agent, when asked, FIRST recommended Le Blanc Spa for our wedding (but in terms of cost to our guests, we just couldn't swing it). Good luck!

I also looked at getting married at Le Blanc we decided on Secrets Maroma instead. I would love to see pictures of the resort if anyone has been married there recently! :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
