Amy ~ I try to check CNN at work ;-)

Agreed about the OOT Bags, but our biggest purchase will be the T-Shirts. We have been trying to buy things off season now...the summer sales were great!

I received the final 2010 prices...there were so MAJOR changes. For instance no more hair trial, hair, mani & peid for the bride. That would all be separate =(

And that's a big expense. Also, the mention of the Italian rest., I contacted them and Karla said we can still do the Tropical for the open air private reception. The DJ prices went up too!!!

hello

We found most of our pictures on the First Choice website and the iberostar hotels own site.
I dont know if you know about trip advisor but If you put in name of hotel you will find lots of pictures that people have taken of the complex.

Hope this helps

What's going on with the Tropical Restaurant? Did you receive a new menu from Reyna?

Hi Everyone,

I made OOT bags and did not pay more than a dollar for anything in the bag. I went to Michaels and got $1.00 flipflops. I got $1.00 beach towels at Target, order mugs from discount mugs, sanitizer from the dollar store, fans from oriental trading, and water guns. I also made my welcome books from a template that I got from this site. I am also curious regarding the tropical restaurant and what the menus are. Do you know if we have to have a pre set menu if we have a certain number of people?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
