Yes I thought of this idea, but even 45 16 oz mugs is alot to carry, they arrived in two big boxes yesterday. I also have been told that the DR might try to ding me with taxes, saying that I brought the cups to sell while there. They have a cladagh symbol with Friendship, Love, Loyalty over the symbol and Dominican Republic under it. These insulated travel mugs are very popular in the DR, so selling them wouldn't be a far fetched idea. I am going to phone the airline and enquire about that idea though, because it is a good one.

It is actually reccomended that if your child is under a certain weight you bring their car seat. I just don't know if I want it on the plane or not. So many decisions!!

Yeah your right Christine, okay I am going to stop worrying there are too many other things to worry about. I am going to try and remember that this is about Everton, me, and the kids, and to hell with everything else.

Kelly I'm sorry this is so late but I am seeing this post for the first time now. Why can't you ship everything down? Would that be crazy expensive? Did you ask any family members if they have space? Also, I can't remember who but I think someone on this forum said that they gave their OOT bags at the barbecue prior to leaving no? Hmm let me see if I can remember who this was.

For my friends wedding last year, she gave out bags in advance, I think the week before. I brought mine, and so did all the BM's, but a lot of other people did not. I am sure Dawn did not tell them she wanted them to bring them though, its just the way she is, but she did want them to. I would say more than half the people left them at home. Sorry, I wish I had better news for you.

But, I think if you tell everyone they should bring them along, they probably would.

Julie, all I really care about is the cups I had made.

I thought of just bringing the cups Glenda, or shipping everything down down but I have heard nightrmares of problems. The cup problem is that I could get dinged for taxes`with 45 cups thinking I am going to sell them. Apparently the cups are a huge selling item in the DR, go figure!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
