Besides, I figure the casitas are that little something extra, perfect for a special occasion!

Any chance you would share that spreadsheet?

EDR is on my priority list - mainly because I'm looking for a chapel ceremony and there seem to be only a few AI resorts that have on-site chapel. I will be religiously going through all 51 pages of posts soon!

HAs anyone recently been to the Karisma hotel website... it seems to have some changes and I am freaking out.

1. I only see 2 photographers now

2. They have listed new specials (under the specials tab), but I am confused as to how they will be apply. For example, could I combine the "it's all about the bride" with the group special.

Someone please let me know whats your take on the new information TIA

Ikupoo here. I'm at EDR right now, and I'm planning to take pictures that I couldn't find easily on internet! I'll post pictures as I take them for the next 7 days (time allowing) Godbless wifi. Here's the details of Tucanes. If you play as slideshow, it plays as if you're turning in one place.

BTW, I was planning to put 3 long tables in one row for the reception, but they have to put it in an "L" shape in order to fit it under the palapa. They didn't tell me this until after I made my seating arrangements and all. Boo.

Hi everyone! I thought i would join this thread now that i am offically booked at EDR on June 5, 2010! We have about 50 guests to invite so hopefully we will have 35-40 that can attend. I picked June for the deal 15% off on the f&b pricing for the party. I think its a great deal and my room rate wasn't bad either (I think $340? Maybe my travel agent can do better?) So far it has been easy on the planning. I hope to reserve "Moments that matter" photography even though there is the extra charge.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
