Of course you can stay here, you're my almost date twin!! :) I am so happy that Ocean Coral is still in Puerto Morelos! I may just have to sneak over there on Friday wink.gif

 

We definitely need to still meet up for a drink, they can't be that far away from each other and you're still welcome to come party down with us the following day.

Thanks for the warm welcome, ladies! Kitten, we will definitely be getting together for a newlywed drink or two. We will be going down 5/5 - 5/12 so we will definitely overlap quite a bit. SO looking forward to it!

 

So, I have gotten quotes from both the resort and a TA and they are pretty much the same. As a standard, the resort gives 10% off of regular room rates for a group rates. Did anyone negotiate for better rates? I know you can negotiate for other stuff but I'm just curious to see if anyone got anywhere with haggling for the guest room rates. We will probably have 25-35 rooms so I'm hoping I have some bargaining power but I'm new at this, so I'm not sure.

 

Thoughts??

Hi Ladies!

I have been reading this post for a few days now and finally decided to say hello! I am confirmed at Azul Sensatori for December 5, 2009!!! I can't believe how quickly it is coming up... AHHHH - so much to do. Anyway, I am sure that I will have a lot of questions - so I am going to thank you in advance for all of your help! Is anyone else having their wedding in December?

yeah definitely :) they can't be that far from each other in a cab! we'll definitely sort something out!

I'm so gutted my thread is so lame! anybody want to be an honourary Ocean Coral bride just to get things going?! lol

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
