Woo hoo! the more, the merrier! cheesy.gif I don't do the protein shake, I just can't. So I don't really bother replacing it with anything. Sometimes I'll have a protein bar if it's on a day where I can have carbs. Other than that, I just don't eat after dinner.

I did this is past BL seasons. My WW weigh-in day was Monday, so I used that weight for Wednesday's weigh-in. I also took a picture of the WW book instead of the scale (since you can't see it at the meetings) and no one had a problem with that. They're pretty flexible about it.

So I'm gearing up to start this next week! (Finally!) I'm going to Cape Cod this weekend, returning Monday, and starting on Wednesday. I know that's kind of a weird start date, but I don't want to wait a whole other week, plus that will make my first cheat day my birthday! Eventually I'll work the program out to make cheat day on Saturday. Now I just need to figure out what to buy. Thank you everyone for all of the suggestions so far. It's too bad we can't start a journal to just list food we've discovered/love as a quick reference. It's time consuming to go back through pages and pages of threads!

I've gotten used to it.. I just mix it with 8oz of water in a shaker bottle and chug. (mix the hell out of it because if there are lumps it's NASTY)

So lunch and midafternoon snack..not so well today. This is hard for me! But I pulled out dinner and the shake tonight, so feeling good about that. Normally I would of just given up the day completely.

 

I find that Im hungry....I think maybe Im not eating enough? I probably need to utilize the veggies more. Bring more and munch on those.

 

I have really severe thyroid issues, so am a little anxious about trying this out. I know my body so Ill know if I can handle it or not.

 

I did get to cycling class tonight to. WOOHOO!

 

For my shakes I picked up some special K protein shake....its good...so its probably not the right kind. LOL It does say its whey protein though...

but seriously i did 3 seasons of it in the past, but not the most recent season. apparently there was all kinds of drama and suspected cheating and the contest was almost no more because of it. i just really don't want to see that happen, because i think the contest is such a good motivator and the ladies of this forum are all such a wonderful support system and great friends. so we got the mods to allow the contest to continue but only if there were no monetary prize. i think it will result in a more genuine group who are really there to support each other's strides toward healthier weight, with no ulterior motives. unless you count the burning desire for the "biggest loser avatar" that goes to the winner, LOL.

Hey ladies! from the few last posts i read it seems like we have new people on the program! so i just want to stay good luck :)

 

I posted a few days ago that i was having all my wisdom teeth surgically removed. It was the day after i began the core phase on Monday. I've been in so much pain but i'm trying to stick to the diet, so i've been eating soft scrambled egg whites for the past two days as much as i can.. but i've skipped so manymeals because of the pain. i have to admit i also added had ice cream yesterday.. probably a couple cups and yogurt because it really hurts even eating the eggs. Today my mouth hurt the most and I only ate a cup of ice cream the entire day and just drank protein shakes. It just hurt so much that i didnt want to eat and I slept most of the day. I am feeling really guily though..like i've ruined my diet. Tomorrow I'm just going to deal with it and eat the eggs every few hours like i'm supposed too. do you think I should begin again from day of the diet or should i continue on with the core phase??

I hope everything makes sense lol the meds i'm on are making me so groggy
