We're having the Open/Bar GrillMenu with Grill Chicken, Beef and Vegetables. French Fried Potatoes, Mixed Salad, Fried Plantains and for Dessert, Banana or Pineapple flambeada. It's also an open bar. Yes they have a connection for Ipods and a CD player and a very nice wood dance floor. The have a generator for night lights and music since will be coming back at sunset. So we will be doing our first dance, cake cutting, dinner and dancing all on the boat.

april2010dr.. which resort are you getting married at? i don't think you can go wrong in PC! you can use this site to figure out your next step.. there are so many fun details and little things you can plan and the best thing about a DW is you can do as little or as much as you want! the point is to be as stress free as possible, right?!

chicken, that sounds delicious! and the boat sounds like the perfect venue for a reception! definitely unique and i'm sure your guests will love it.

I dont have another one in mind. The one that was my backup plan was going to be my main dress in case I didnt like this one. I love it. It is simple and just perfect for what I wanted. I'm not sure if I'm going to wear the same dress for the AHR or not. I probably will.

Hi ladies,

I will be getting married on the Carnival Glory in Miami on April 25, 2010, then sailing on a 7-day eastern carribean cruise. I am working on my save-the-dates now and hope to have them in the mail in the next week or so. I'm also working on my wedding website and carnival wedding registry website, which I want to have finished before I send out my save-the-dates.

As of now, we have verbal confirmation that at least 6 family and friends will be sailing with us. My travel agent has set aside a small number of staterooms that will be held until November 2009. I'm not expecting many people to attend the wedding since most will have to travel and may not be able to afford it. But, I may be surprised. My mom thinks I should just invite everyone, since most people proably won't make it anyway, but I told her that I need to be prepared in case everyone says yes. Carnival only allows 50 non-sailing guests. If I end up with more than that responding yes, am I just supposed to tell some people, "sorry, I didn't mean to invite you"? So, I am going to include preliminary rsvp cards with my save-the-dates to see how many plan to attend or not. If I end up getting some "no" responses, I'll extend the invitations/save-the-dates to the next people on the guest list.

There is so much that goes into planning a wedding...

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
