Ladies, my MOH is a nut with excel and she is in the process of putting together a spreadsheet with all the pricing and offerings for photographers. She said she should have it done in a day or two (she's been working on it for weeks). If you are interested in me sending it to you then shoot me your email.
Hello there!

Can you please send me the info once you have it. I'm trying to crunch numbers here so this spreadsheet would be very handy to have. My email address is dmor129@yahoo.com

Thanks!!

Thank you!! :)

We did get our hair and makeup done at the resort since it was included in my package. I can't say we were 100% happy... one of my bridesmaids almost burst into tears because she hated her hair, but they were able to fix it and she looked beautiful. We all ended up having to "tweak" our makeup as it wasn't really colors we would have chosen for ourselves, and my eye makeup was way too heavy (I asked for a smokey eye with browns). I also wish I would have worn my hair up - it didn't really turn out how I had imagined and since it was SO HUMID out there, all my curls went flat in like an hour...

After your experience with the salon would you recommend finding another one or even doing your own hair and make up?

I think they are probably as good as any salon when it comes to hair, but I would recommend doing your own makeup. :)

Thank you :) so much for the honesty. It really helps, a great excuse for me to tell the FI why I need to go to several MAC stores for practice sessions and buy make up :)

Hi Shirley! I'm getting married at The Royal PDC October 9th 2010 :) Wonder if there's anything I can leave there for you to use if you need it. Not sure what that could be but if you think of anything let me know. How many guest are you having? What are your colors?

Hi April/Ryan.
I don't have prices for life images, but they shot my wedding at the royal and were amazing. It would be best to contact them. They LOVED the royal and mexico and would be thrilled to go back!

Jes... I think there is a MAC store right down the street from The Royal. I think I am planning to set an appointment with them on my wedding day instead of using the Resort. Just a thought. I think I am going to go to the MAC store here in Houston for a trial and then set up an appointment through them with the store in Playa.

Oh that would be great! I was kinda freaking out how much I would spend on my bridesmaid' makeup. If there is a MAC down the street, then I am going to see if they can get their makeup there! I want to get my makeup done by them as well but I have a luxury package so makeup is included. I'm wondering if I can opt out that or get a refund for it?

Does anyone know?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
