But you can bring your own if you purchase from duty free because you've already gone through security.
This is actually a good idea. I didn't even think about buying them at the airport. Thanks Ana!!

Anyone using a cabo photographer? If so are you using the same photog for the TTD?

I know alot of photogs will include it in the package, but if the dont do you think you should switch it up, use a different one?
Erika, this is something that I thought about as well. I like Juan Carlos work but for the TTD shoot I think the quoted me $1500. I'm not sure if I'm going to use him or not since I am flying my photograhper in from home and it includes a TTD shoot. I just don't know if I want to spend the additional money on photos or a video. There are so many decisions!!!

What made me finally decided on Dreams was the flexibility that they offered!!! I looked at several hotels in Cabo and they all required a minimum of guest had to stay at the hotel. My FI and I didn't want to have to tell our guests were to stay especially since they were incurring the cost of travel. Dreams allows for guests to stay at other hotels and come in for the day of the wedding without any addiitonal charge. I really liked this so we decided on Dreams.

Hey Jess,

Per my WC and many of the other past dreams brides, there is a "day pass" fee to have non hotel guests attend your wedding or welcome dinner. The pass is currently $89 per person, I think. Thankfully we only have 4 people staying off site so far. But it is still a large expense to inccur ($712) for both events.

Erika - I'm back!!!!

I used Mango (and I think you are too..) and purchased his package that was 6 hours total. Jerome was awesome and let me split it up and use 5 hours on the day of the wedding and the additional hour for TTD. We got everything we wanted on wedding day - He came an hour before the wedding and stayed until we cut the cake - I think feeding him and his crew helped keep him therepopcorn.gif because I dont know what time it was when he left....the next day we probably actually spent 1.5 to 2 hours on TTD.

Maybe you can split your time somehow....

Blondie Thanks for the info!- Acutally I think Jerome sent me your TTD as an example!!

DEANNA!!!! OMG welcome back!! I missed you!!!! Congrats Mrs. and official Step mom!!!

I will ask Jerome about splitting the time too! That is a great idea. I have to also go back and look and see what package I am doing with him.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
