Have you exercised today?

Jogged 3 miles this morning. Getting ready for 8 a.m. meeting.

I've just discovered the Wii Fitness Coach!!! So cool! I didn't like the Wii Fit for weight loss because it's not consistantly challenging enough. But the Fitness Coach: my friend lost 35 lbs doing it, since January, for 30-45 minutes daily (and watching what she ate). So since I can't run anymore, I needed an alternative. Takes 30 minutes to set up your profile (including body measurements), and then do some tests of your fitness level. Then Maya, the coach, will formulate an exercise regimen for you. You can work out for 15, 30, 45 or 60 minutes, and change the focus each time (core, upper body, lower body, cardio, flexibility). And you provide feedback about how easy or hard you find it, so that she can readjust the next time around. I'm having fun with it. I got it yesterday and have already done 2 work-outs. For now, it'll replace my morning runs, which will help my moral a lot :-) For it to work though, you need to be honest in answering the questions she asks and when doing your reps because it doesn't use the Wii balance board. I'll keep you posted. I definitely think I will prefer this to videos, since it keeps track of your progress and provides diversity (which in turn helps to prevent plateaus).

Did plyo yesterday and planning on a low impact cardio work out after work. We are playing in our kickball championship tonight so I have to be at the top of my game for that Woot! Woot!

Did 30-second sprints for 10 minutes before going to "Total Body Pump" at lunch.

Didn't work out yesterday because I realized that kickball was a double header in 110 degree heat and I needed to be in tip top condition...LOL. But WOO HOO - we won the championship!!!

I have the Wii Active -I think that is the same thing you are talking about Chanti, & I just started it too. Mine lets me incorporate the balance board though?! I love it, its a great workout, and is really fun too.

I did that on thurs night, but its been soooooo hot here I haven't been able to get back at it since. I have gone for a swim every day though, and plan on swimming and hitting the Wii before the day is out.

I have 7 lbs to lose and 6 weeks to do it in!
