YouTube - Dreams Puerto Vallarta Sarah & James Wedding

This is Our Wedding Teaser Trailer from Promovision~ March 10th 2009

Awsome wedding, awsome resort and Rebecca Rocked! She is So sweet!

We did Ceremony, and reception all here at Dreams. The only things I'd change are to make sure your DJ has a song list, otherwise it will be a little 80's.

As well I would have got an outside cake if I could, but no outside food aloud so I had to live with there's. But whatever! All is done and No regrets! Best time of my life.

We jumped into the pool at the end of the evening! Wahooo! so fun! The bridesmaids went ocean swimming later that night in their dresses too! I thought chlorine was enough for my dress, no need to add salt to that! haha~

This video is a little blury but I hope to post a better clip later.

And finally here is a Photo Montage of our day. We have much better shots, but their not in this montage, it also takes a moment to load up!

Hope it works, and I hope you Brides and Groom's ENJOY the Day! It goes sooooo fast! xoxox All me Love Ladies

Rebecca told us that they only needed to know 11 days out what our food options will be (we are having 2 entrees also). She also told us we could bring in an outside cake. And that they would put up whatever decorations we brought but made it sound like there wouldn't be a charge. I guess I better double check.

I love all the detail stuff on decorations! I'm in the process now of planning all of that out so it's really helpful!

Jamie is there a fee for having two different entrees? I think that would be the best for us, because so many guests love seafood and I am just not a huge fan. SO if I could have two then I would feel much better!

Also where are you considering getting your cake from??

no fee, you just need to know who will be having what entree ahead of time. someone just said 11 days, i think i told gaby the day we got there.
if i could have brought in an outside cake, i'd bring it from pie in the sky. we used them for our favors and tasted a cake there - was PHENOMENAL. there's a review for them in my siggy.

I was considering a June wedding, but I just got back and it was so humid it was almost miserable! Any experience with May or June weather in PV??

Also, is it better to go with the Free package and choose items a la cart, or go with one of the other 2 options?

Thanks!! :) Also, other than the humidity...the resort was amazing and Rebecca is so nice.

Rebeca told me there was no extra charge, but you never know....
She also told me that the balance isn't paid until the day after the wedding, that we sit down and add it all up and then pay her. That worries me a little, that all these expenses will come up randomly. I just plan on being strict with her when we sit down and making sure everything we have set doesn't change during the actual ceremony night.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
