These are funny; good thread!

Mine didn't happen the day of the wedding, but it happen a few days before in line at Cancun airport while waiting to get our luggage checked. My DH and I flew along with 25 of our guests that day, so everyone was really loud and excited we were finally there and I was just a big ball of stress. I was standing by myself next to my luggage and dress and my mom yells out "Are you ok?" and I yelled at her in front of everyone "Why wouldn't I be ok, is there something wrong with me?!" I can tell she was so hurt and it became so uncomfortable because everyone turned around to look at her when I yelled. I didn't feel bad at the time, now I do blush2.gif I just hated being asked through the whole wedding process "are you ok" Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Wait- did she do that on purpose?

I don't think I really had a bridezilla moment. My closest may have been a week or so before the wedding when one of BMs decided that her dress wasn't short enough and since she couldn't find a seamstress to do it so quickly she was going to shorten it herself. I just about flipped. She can't sew!!! What the F was she thinking??!!

Haha these are good (except for the makeup, ahhhh)! I am not married yet but I nearly had 2 moments so far:

1- Swine flu fiasco, enough said!

2- Found out Apple Vacations isn't continuing their Thurs-Sun charters. We had planned our trip around that sad.gif Still figuring out what to do!

Mine was just this week...asked FI to cut out the fan programs (already traced and had monitored his cutting ability already...haha). But he thought he would be nice and glue them too...would have been fine if he used a gluestick, which we had at home. He wanted to get them done at work and all he could find was Elmer's! ALL RUINED!

I was crying sad.gif I didn't really flip out on him because I know he had good intentions and was trying to help, but I called a friend and my parents to b*tch about it. I was PISSED.

He went out and bought all new materials (and a big pack of gluesticks-LOL) and is redoing them tonight, even though I told him not to bother...I definitely would not use them the way they are, but I didn't want to spend the money or the time to redo them all...I was so frustrated I wanted to not have any at all. I know he was trying to help but how stupid can you be?? ELMER'S MAKES PAPER WET! It's what 5 year old use to glue macaroni to paper plates at daycare! GRRRRRRRRR!

Haha, I remember this Rachel. Didn't she want to duct tape it or something?

Mine was on the day of the wedding. I had asked my mom to look for a little box of the Sofia sparkling wine (it comes in little pink cans!) to take to the salon with me. Was so excited that she had found it. Went to the fridge 15 minutes before the appointment (the salon was 2 blocks away) and they were nowhere to be found. (I had seen it in the fridge the day before!) Checked both fridges, the coolers that the caterers had started to set up-- nada. Someone had moved the chilled cans of sparkling wine to a cupboard! I was freaking because this was the one thing that I asked for, and my salon was going to charge me extra for being late!

Luckily we just made it on time and I got my wine, so it was all good.

She wanted to just pin it up since she waited to the last minute and tried to get it altered like 5 days before we left. Thankfully, she used her head and decided not to push it or I would have exploded on her ass.

Oh that's right. I knew she wanted to use something other than thread!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
