August 2009 brides

Got word from the jeweler our rings will be ready on the 26th. Got word from out TA that travel docs are being FedExed. Spoke to the seamstress and my dress is ready for the next fitting (too bad I'm going out of town this weekend). Just need FH to go to the tailor, and get the sashes made for the bm's dresses! Yay yay yay!!!

I also need luggage, a final playlist (that's FI's job), and... oh yeah! My minister to get his ID so he can board the plane, LOL

I pray he gets his ID you sound like everything is coming together I'm very happy for you. I also need luggage I was looking on fingerhut and they have a 6 piece set for 169.99 that's not bad I'm just wondering will it be good quality luggage cause I have things going in them that must make it to Jamaica safe and sound you no. Anyway best of luck with everyhing

I'm looking for cheap duffle bags we can fold up and bring home. I have lots of stuff not coming back like beach bags, beach mats, etc and don't want to have tons of empty bags coming home. I'd like to be able to fold 'em up and put them in our other bags!

I just switched to the night shift so I can sympathize with you, it sucks, I can't sleep during the day but I don't want to go do stuff b/c I should be sleeping so instead I lie awake thinking of all the things I could be getting done!

OMG thats so me too and between wedding planning and military out prossesing if I sleep I get behind so I dont know what I'm going to do this next month when I have to have everything done by :/

We leave 1 month & 1 day from today!

 

I'm freaking out to say the least. I still have to pay $2500 on our wedding! We had $1800 of unexpected stuff come up in the last week so I have to come up w/ that! Thankfully I really only have a few last things to print out, and then packing!

Jac- doesn't it always seem like when you have somewhere for the $ to go it almost always has to go somewhere else!!! We still have payments to make on the wedding ourselves. I know that it will all work out in the end, but it is still stressful.

 

I can't believe that August is just over a month away! I still have so much to do! I know it will all work out....OMG, I think I am becoming the girl that I swore I never would be...a bridezilla! I was a bridesmaid in a wedding 2 yrs ago and the bride drove me nuts. (She is my Matron of honor) I had dreams of torturing her the way she tortured us but it is way too much work to keep harassing my girls!

50 days left until I say 'I do'! I cannot believe how fast time is going! We are having a conference call with our WCs next week to go over the final details, the balance of the ceremony is due in two weeks and I think other than picking up FHs ring, we're done!

Oh my gosh, I swear is life in general! Everytime we have some great and grand planned something unexpected always sneaks its way in, I should be prepared for it by now!

I have to admit alot of my stress has come from Joe's Aunt, she made some decisions we weren't expecting, especially after I worked my a$$ off to help her and then she changes her mind completely and ended up costing me more money. i've been avoiding her, but last night finally talked to her and it was REALLY REALLY good.

I am so not a stress/ worry person... I always have the mentality of oh well that's the way it is but for some reason weddings have their way of getting to people!

I work for FFIL in his lab and do large projects for him that companies request, which is great cause i only work an hour or 2 a week but make lots of moolah, but the last one i did that company was 12 weeks late on paying me!! So we are in need of that money to finish paying for our wedding and have lots to play w/ and its a different company and the last situation is not normal, but i still have a fear it will happen again! But last night we worked out alternatives and I'm now determined to be stress free this month!

Oh ladies I hope we're all stress free, and love every last minute of our planning! In a couple months we'll be bored again!

OMG got to say loving my life right now hahaha I'm such a sucker for high pace high stress

 

I have given up on hints to my local girl friends to throw me a shower or something haha

I'm having to get FI and mom to do alot of the last min stuff cuz let me tell you the military really dose not want to let you go... I thought I would be out by Aug 1st I told my landlady I would be out of my place by Aug 1st and now I have another week until I'm released!!! agh

 

They switched our work hours again too! though I guess for the better I'll see sunlight again but now we have less people working and that is threatening my days off I have to take to move 15 hours!!!

 

Wait wedding stuff... crap I have to finish planing one of those... NOT on the military's time!
