These are all great stories!! You know your life together is going to be great, when you don't need a spectacle to be blown off your feet!

My FI proposed a few days after I picked out my own ring (shopping for it with his mother, no less!). I was sitting beside him on the couch when he got the call from the jewellers to say its ready for pick up, too!

We went to a trendy restaurant just before a baseball game, and he asked me to hold his hands under the table. I knew it was coming...I was excited nonetheless. He took both my hands and put my new ring on the wrong hand!

We were laughing when I was crying and putting the ring on the correct finger...I don't even remember if he officially asked me to marry him!

My FI was planning on taking me skating to a really nice outdoor rink and propsing there, but I had caught a cold and was feeling really crappy. He kept asking but I was like no no I don't feel good and its cold out.

So I was in the house, in the bathroom (in my pjs and looking like crap) blow drying my hair. He came in and told me the phone was for me and I kind of got irritated that he didn't just take a message. So I came into the room where the "phone call" was and he grabbed a stuffed puppy with the ring box in the middle and got down on one knee.

I was so stunned ...I was like what are you doing?? hahaha then he started telling me how much he love me and I started crying. All that good stuff.

I always thought I wanted something so planned out and romantic. But this was and I am gald that we were alone because I don't think I would have wanted our moment to be in front of strangers.

I think I was so shocked after, I was kinda shaky for most of the day!

He picked out such an amazing ring all by himself too..we didn't go shopping at all for one, I was quite impressed!

Oh ya my FI starting putting the ring on the wrong hand too..hahaha I had to tell him it was supposed to be the other one. I think he was kinda nervous

My fiance proposed on christmas day last year....in the kitchen! He told me that the watch he had ordered me for christmas had not arrived for the day because he was getting it engraved......turned out i got an engagement ring instead! We all sat down for dinner when he gave me a christmas card which he'd wrote how much he loved me and would i marry him, my ring was in the champagne glass. I loved it

We have booked our wedding in Cancun 28th June 2010

awww I've always though the campaign glass with the ring was soo classy
