Can u only have a welcome dinner at the buffet??

I think if it's a symbolic/religious wedding, the minister will speak in english, but if it's a civil wedding they will speak in spanish, and I believe your wedding coordinator will translate it. there's some videos on youtube of riu palace mexico/riviera maya weddings.

I chose the Caprice package because I am hoping for around 50 guests but now want to change my mind to the Royal package (I think the # of guests listed on the package only applies to the cake and wine toast- but correct me if I'm wrong) so hopefully that will go over ok. Also, does anyone know if you can get a script of what the minister is going to say during the ceremony, or can you give him some ideas of what you would like said? and is it in English??
I think the # in the package also applies to the ceremony set up :) Glad you liked the STD's there are SO many cute ideas on here. I just went with what was the easiest.

June- We are also planning to get married at the gazebo. As for the night before, we're hoping to do some type of rehearsal dinner with the bridal party. We will probably try to plan dinner with everyone, just so we're not leaving anyone out though. This might actually act as our welcome dinner too, since some of our guests won't be arriving until one or two days before the wedding.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
