Post all "Knock Off Wedding Dress" questions/comments here

My duosheng dress came today (I ordered it May 11), and I have nothing but good things to say about the whole experience. Sabrina Zhang was fantastic with answering my many, many emails throughout and the quality of the dress is very nice. I ordered it with a lace up back, and I really can't do it myself, so sorry the dress is saggy at the top in the photo. I asked for a replica Maggie dress from 2005, but all white and a ruffle at the top. It did come in a hanging bag, but is extremely wrinkled. I think the dry cleaners can easily fix this. Again, I think the quality is equal to anything else I have seen (note, I have not tried on dresses above $1000). I asked for "best quality", which cost extra, and including the $30 shipping, this dress was $287. Please ask me any questions about Dousheng and I will answer if I can. I sure hope the top fits better when someone else can lace me up, that is my only complaint about the dress.

Alot of people have mentioned ebay. Have you tried searching the forum??

Nope, there are a ton of us getting knock off's. lol I actually ended up landing a good deal from a salon in the UK that had my dream dress for less than half price, but I'm getting my TTD dress made from one of the ebay sellers. It's a combo of two dresses (top half then bottom half). I see a loooooot of brides here on the forum that are looking for good knock off's. The whole wedding process is nothing but endless expense-gotta save that money where we can!

Nope, there are a ton of us getting knock off's. lol I actually ended up landing a good deal from a salon in the UK that had my dream dress for less than half price, but I'm getting my TTD dress made from one of the ebay sellers. I totally didn't notice that! Wow I didn't even think of combining two dresses to make the one I like... this is so exciting! Makes you start thinking you can get two dresses if you want

I just started looking and for some reason they don't seem to carry the dress I'm interested in at the moment which is Melissa Sweet.

I was also thinking about just trying on the designers I like they have available to see how they fit first.

I also found bestbridalprices.com which has discounted real dresses and you can return them... I was looking to see if anyone had dealt with them at all but I don't see it.

has anyone used wedddingdressmart.com I'm pretty sure they are knock offs and they have a return policy which is strange too...

Did you go to a local bridal shop and try some on and then decide?
