Thank you for sharing that information. I originally asked to have my reception in the Thia Beach Restaurant and they said it isn't available for weddings, that was back in January I think. I guess they have changed their options. We definately have some thinking to do!! :)

Hey Ladies!

I'm getting married August6th and I was wondering if i could get some help from some of you who have been married at the GSP....

after the first dance we go to the disco ...so i'm wondering what is the disco like? is it private? or is it a club with a bunch of strangers?

 

if anyone has any wedding pictures or advice for the GSP i would love to hear it! Courtney has sent me pictures and has helped so much

could you please send these documents to me via email. I'm trying to book our wedding for April 2010 and the wedding coordinator is extremely slow in getting back to us. These documents may give us a better idea of exactly what we want and then we will be in the know when she finally gets back to us.

Exciting! Looks like we'll be there around the same time. I have put in a request for April 23rd or 24th. I've sent three requests and I haven't heard anything back from them...it's been 2 weeks! I want to book!!! It's a little frustrating. Have you ironed out your plans for what you want for the wedding and reception? I love the idea of the beach party...it's a little pricey...but looks like a lot of fun!

We have booked the trip and I am planning on sending in the wedding booking this weekend. Patricia said that my date is available, so I'm hoping that stays true. If not I have some room to change since I think we are going to get married here first!

 

I totally want to do the beach party. Even though I agree it is crazy $$$$$....but the way I'm looking at it is that we are going all that way for a certain kind of experince I want to make sure that I don't look back and have any regrets.

Sasse, is Patricia from the resort? I was dealing with Damarys and then she left and Diana took over. I haven't heard of Patricia. I'm having a little trouble with my ceremony time and would love to talk to someone else if there is another person there. If Patricia is with the resort can you please give me her information?       Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
