Hi Ladies - I need some ideas. My wonderful, amazing friends are throwing me an early bachelorette party in Toronto in 2 weeks. It's 12 of my close friends who I have known forever - we all live in different parts of the country and are meeting in Toronto. I am SUPER excited. I don't even know where we are staying - it's all a surprise and I can't wait. It's going to be a crazy couple of days I'm sure! shots.gif

But I feel like I should get something as a small thank you gift. Especially because all the girls are paying for a trip to Toronto for this - all for me!woot.gif

Do you girls have any ideas of something simple, cute, inexpensive I could get for everyone as a thank you gift??

Will they all be attending your wedding in Punta Cana? If so, maybe you could get them something they would need for their stay that you wouldn't be putting in their OOT bags. If they all wear jewelry, maybe you could get them some fun bangle bracelets in vibrant colors...or get a different pieces, couple necklaces, earrings, etc...then everyone can pick what they like best...maybe even share! Or flip flops? You can personalize a plain pair with a flower or rhinestones...oh, a wristlet? I love to use mine when I just go out with the girls for drinks and all you want to throw in it is your money and keys...hmm, oh...bed, bath, and beyond is having their semi annual sale...you can give them some islandy scented shower gel or lip glosses...okidokie, I'm out of ideas :) have a great time...I absolutely LOVE Toronto!!! I have family in Hamilton, so when I'm up there I always enjoy a night in Toronto...that and I love Tim Hortons, haha! lucky you, enjoy your bachelorette festivities!!!

Thanks Sanrda! You have some awesome ideas!! Unfortunately they arent all coming to the wedding, but I do like the idea of getting something tropical to keep with the whole destination wedding theme. thanks again - i LOVE Tim's too - have a coffee from there every single day!

hmm.. i have never thought of giving people a thank you gift for throwing my bach. party. IM the same as you, my close friends are scattered across north america and 15 of us are meeting in vegas in 2.5 weeks for mine!! eeek! It would have to be pretty inexpensive for me to do something since there are so many of them so i guess ill keep checking this thread :)

I've come up with an idea! I think I might buy everyone a small photo album (you can often get cute ones for a couple bucks at Michaels or even dollar store) and "scrapbook" the front page to say something like "Erin's Stagette Weekend, July 2009, Toronto" or something similar. And then everyone can use it for their photos of the weekend. Whatcha thinkhuh.gif

t-shirts or tanktops would be cute too and I bet those are relatively inexpansive. Your BM could have ones that say bridesmaid so they could wear them again at the wedding the the rest can have something about your bachelorette weekend.

The photobook idea is super cute too!! Good luck is sounds like you guys are going to have a blast!!

I just wanted to add that all the ideas are great and that is so wonderful that you have such special friends that are doing this for you!

I, too.. love the idea of doing something matching and tropical. There are tons of cute little starfish necklaces all over right now (I would check Etsy) that would be a nice gift that they could wear again. I bought this one for my cousin who is doing a reading in my wedding and it wasn't expensive but looks like it is...

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
