I'm using Aqua & white as my core colors with punches of orange, green, pink for accent. I'm really trying to allow the beauty of Cabo & the ocean be the focal point for my decor (read: minimal decor).

Here's my monogram that I will be using on invites & other paper stuff, I use it to keep me focused when I'm deciding on other things involving color:
GREAT monogram!

We're doing tropical pink & yellow for our colors with starfish as the theme. Accent colors are palm tree green and ocean blue.

The bridesmaid dresses are bright pink. The flower girl dress is white with pink corset ribbons on the sides (coordinates with the corset style on my dress). The ring bearer is wearing a white shirt, dark pants, and yellow tie. The groom is wearing a black suite, white shirt, and yellow tie to church. The groomsmen all have green ties. For the reception, the guys will wear linen shirts from Tommy Bahama. See attached pictures.

I like the red and orange logo but I'm biased because I'm using red and orange! I love orange so I'm struggling with the bridesmaids dresses. There are some great "burnt orange" colored dresses but thats pretty contemporary and I don't want any of the bridesmaids to hate me because I put them in orange. So the safe color would be red. I can't decide.

i think you might be right. Orange, while a great color IS a little hard to wear. Maybe I'm biased because it looks awful with my skin-tone. But really it's your wedding - if you find a beautiful burnt orange (tell them it's "sienna" wink.gif) dress that's perfect then I say go for it!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
