Totally normal!! I have to order another one, because one just isn't big enough! I think I want to have something else as well and I really like the sanddollar idea.

Anyone know where to get the sanddollars?

I have a stinkload of websites bookmarked at home... ok.. a stinkload is like 4 lol, but they were the websites with the best prices I could find! If no one else replies, I'll try to post them when I get home.

Ok, I don't know anything about "guest donkeys" or "lucky cats" but now I want to have my wedding over again so that I can have them!! Lol! You girls have the best ideas!

btw...I did a photo guest book also. Had someone taking pics of the guests as they arrived. Then I had blank colored cards and various colored sharpies on the table. So people wrote their little notes on the cards and then dropped them into the glass "fishbowl" I had sitting there. It looked cute and colorful set out and was TONS of fun to read through everything and look at the pics when we got home. Now (a friggin' year later!) I just need to get them all arranged in the album I bought! Lol!

oooh love the sand dollar idea, I also love the postcard idea as well. it would be so much fun to receive something in the mail other than bills. LOL

Heres what I m doing, I think I have mentioned elsewhere not sure though, We are having a wide white ribbon and we are having all of our guests sign it with their thoughts, and prayers. We are also having friends and family who can't make it sign it before we leave. We are then going to drape it through the arbour so that we get married under our friends well wishes. We will then tuck it away in our memory box. I think I will also do the sand dollars idea, I love it!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
